Hey Missa, some friendly advice from a photographer… I’d suggest putting the light behind you on the floor instead of right behind your head. It’s part of the reason your camera won’t focus correctly, but it’s also throwing off your exposure. It’s also a better visual effect to have that type of background light at ground level. It will make your background look less washed out, and you will be less starkly backlit. Strong backlighting causes a subject to appear fuzzy, which is usually done for artistic effect rather than a practical lighting choice.
It’s actually about half a meter behind me! But I could definitely move it lower to the ground- I put it high thinking that’s what looked right but I can move it. Also - very open to all helpful tips cause I do not understand lighting at all 😂
I was going to ask you where it was privately because it looked high and close to the wall. Closer to you and lower will do the trick!
@@Makemeupmissathe distance behind your head isn’t the issue so much as where it is geographically relative to you as the subject of the frame. It’s just too bright to be-angle wise-directly behind your head. Try putting it at ground level and see what happens. :)

So excited to see you back Missa!❤ Looked in comments section from last video, I didn’t see any other mention of it but I think w the natural light + the light in front of you it is too bright? It’s blowing out your face a bit and makes it difficult to see. Not sure if it’s the ring light you showed on your desk.
My camera is on a different setting - that might be the issue!! I’m still trying to get it right - I’ve never not been able to block natural light before so I’m trying to adjust!! Xxx

I don't know if you've seen, but glisten does have multichrome (or duochrome I can't remember) eyeliners!

I've wanted to try Unearthly but they're color stories don't inspire me...until now! That is a beautiful palette! I think that the Melt, Bailey Sarian palette is perfectly grunge

@@Makemeupmissa I only knew off the top of my head because it was a HUGE deal when I was a child. A lot of children were born with awful problems, it was very sad. The insult of calling someone a 'flid' came from those days.

You're thinking of Thalidomide not thallium, that was what caused a lot of birth defects in pregnant women. Very sad. Thallium is a poison like many of the other names used - I imagine you don't want to be giving thallium to pregnant women either!😳 (Sorry for waffling on!)

Babes, I have to say this because I care about you & your sausages & as a Certified Health Coach, H.H.E.,… your symptoms point to your new home being moldy. It’s getting worse too, I can hear it in your voice, mold severely affects the LUNGS, brain, immune system & it’s just as toxic to nonhuman animals. Your eyes & face are starting to show symptoms of mold exposure too (I’m also a Certified Iridologist). I have a sneaking suspicion you’ve mentioned this or know this yourself but brushed it off.
