I was a bit bummed they didn't carry on their Bonito Generation sound, but Time 'n' Place has been a blast on its own right! These guys are among the best indie pop/rock stuff I've heard this year for sure!
I like their alternative stuff better imo

I don't want twenty more albums of the same sound, no matter how much I enjoyed it the first two.
The simple fact that they can do something different and still be new and interesting means they're here to stay.
We just put down my childhood dog today. His name was timber and he was a husky golden mix. Most majestic mf to ever walk this earth I swear. He died one week before he would’ve turned 15. For the last year I’ve stepped up and started taking care of him more, letting him out even late at night so he wouldn’t pee on the floor and helping him up when his legs would start failing. In that last year I learned more about having a pet then I did in the 14 years beforehand. For these last couple weeks I’ve listening to this song non stop, it really helps me reflect on my time with him. When I got a dog I understood he would eventually die, and that’s okay. It’s all apart of the journey. I just hope that I will see you again. ❤
my first cat just went missing and this song is so meaningful to me now. he was only 3 years old and i loved him so much, just looking at pictures of him makes me cry, not knowing if he's ok or even alive, not knowing if he had a painful or slow death, not knowing if he misses his old home or not is so freaking scary and i just want him to be safe and happy. i hope that i can join him someday

@@victoriarios4485 sadly, i didn't. he didn't come back and no one contacted me about seeing him around. it's so weird to see this comment again after almost exactly 1 year, it still kinda makes me teary to think about the amount of bad things that could've happened to him. i feel like if he had just passed away with me it would've been less painful to think about him.
@@maria-cx4bx I'm so sorry to hear that you didn't manage to find him :( My cats are the light of my life and frankly one of the few reasons why I'm still here so I understand how you feel. My cat once went missing for a couple hours and I couldn't stop crying while thinking of ways he could be hurt out there. I hope you get to see him again, even if it's in your dreams.

I have a feeling they went with sounding a bit like The Pillows, as FLCL has the big theme of growing up and maturing. A lot of KKB's songs share a bit of that same theme. Especially with some of the songs from Time n Place, like Sometimes or Dear Future Self.
Honestly, I'd love for them to do the music for an anime, or something that'd benefit greatly with their style of music.

You guys have managed to create my favorite style of music. The album has grown on me quiet a bit. Its like the Beachboys on an introspective acid trip with a jpop vocalist twist. I love it.

Kkb has a very unique style. They write deep songs with light beats easy enough for anyone to miss. I think everyone realized the power of their songwriting through Only Acting. This band deserves more credit! It's not easy to write something that detailed hidden behind such a playful image.

I love this song so much. I’ve always had a huge love for birds. My cockatiel passed away earlier this year so I cried the first time I listened to this. The bond that birds and people form together is truly indescribable. The ringnecks in this video are beautiful - I wish we had wild ones where I live :) So sorry you lost your friend, Sarah. This is a wonderful dedication to him.
