Do you guys think you could do an rpg campaign based on the cathedral like you did with the space bear/tau batrep? Maybe it could cover what happened to the cathedral to have caused it to be abandoned in the first place? I love the build and I miss the 40k rpg element so it would be really nice.
The Battle-Report for this is going to be amazing! 😁 At some point Jen has to yell "FORWARD MY SISTERS, IN THE EMPEROR'S NAME!" 😄
Dang this is just magnificent really love how you did the autumn theme as well as the leaves that brings it all together . I wouldn't mind seeing more in an autumn theme or even a winter theme .
I love how... serene, this whole scene feels. It's as if this once grand place had been long ago forgotten, but has now been given a new sort of life amongst nature. I can imagine finding this ancient place forgotten by the world in a beautiful autumnal forest, and just resting here for a moment. Even though this diorama is set in the grimdark future, it feels... calm. Beautiful. A respite from the darkness.
I like it.
And everything coming together. Love the autumn theme, and all the tiny leaves. I wonder how long it took for Murray to punch them all out.
A note for the marbling effect, Eric's Hobby Workshop used a Dryer Sheet for his effect, not disposable wipes. Plus the sheet was pressed tightly against the base, not loosely laid down on top of it

Everything looks great and i think you guys did an amazing job.
The stained glass and paint job with all the small details were nicely done!
The only thing that i think is not the best is the flocking grass. it reminds me of when you cut grass without a pick up. the grass is cut and just lays on top of the ground.
The leaves were a great touch and makes the whole thing come together.
AMAZING, BTW it is so fantastic how much Jen has become more comfortable in front of a camera.
I’m going to build my own gaming board for orks but I dont think anything will compare to this
Think like an ork, they don’t care how their creations compare to others
The biggest thing with a board like this is time. You gotta remember that the Tabletop Time crew does this as a job & comparing your hobby to that isn't fair to yourself. It's going to come out great, and you shouldn't worry about it

@@Grace1047 , just take the time to let it develop over time, both efforts and learning and bits. Lots of my terrain is built via papercraft sites, and cheap eBay finds ( i.e. a horrible built/painted landraider ) to jazz up the eldar theme. Now with 3d printing instead of the silicone moldings speeds things up.
But most importantly, building what you like n enjoy is most important.
I need a gif of that “BUSINESS” high five. I feel like it would come in handy quite often.

I didn't realize Tabletop Time wasn't really a big thing before the Space Bears project. CZcams really did one hell of a trick with that one!

Fantastic, I love it!!! The idea of a gaming table that is entirely a temple makes perfect sense, considering that in 40k, like in Dune, there must be these cathedrals that stretch for miles.

This is great. I love the pews too - it gives a very quiet, abandoned feel.
For the moveable terrain, you'll want at least 1-2 large pieces of solid, LOS blocking terrain near the center of the board. Maybe unexploded ordnance or part of the roof collapsed. This will give the board more play under the newer kill team 2021 rules. Love the board and looking forward to seeing Jen crush with novitiates.
