There's certainly a scramble if a random mob shows up. Almost no chance if it's sniper. Other things I can try to dodge but most likely they will ruin the run.
Is that official server mechanics? Because on rA and herc Cecil will attack you regardless of MVP seeing you or not. Also walkspeed is slower then Im used to and adds are frequently being called. Still super well executed.

Yeah the other important info here is that the mob of the MVP is bugged and stuck in moving AI. This happens on the official game engine when the mob is recalled in the middle of a move command. The slaves will stop following until their master finds a target or the slave is attacked. So even official players who aren't aware of this mechanic call my video out for being performed on a private server lol.
The mobs AI is bugged in the video. I was aware of this, so I was comfortable getting in their skill range. Pushing the mvp to the ledge would've been a bit harder if the mob was not bugged. The mobs need to be attacked or the mvp needs to chase/attack a target to unbug. at 0:28 you can see I accidentally target the high priest and try to cancel the JT by putting a chat up. Thankfully, it's immune to wind.
Mastersmith makes the most sense. You can theoretically do this with everything but sniper if you use a different skill. (ex. Lord Knight mvp with Spear Boomerang.) I have done hwiz mvp while wearing gtb and using storm gust. and I have thought it was reasonable to do sinx mvp with firewall and either sacrifice, or high priest with amazing pneuma skills while staying out of range of grimtooth.
@@squirreluh iRO classic was a post-renewal server (came out in 2015) using a modified renewal backend to have a classic formulas and settings. Mechanics were still different though, and notably the drops were modified from real pre-renewal.

I kill laba 3 mvp next tacticts... Mvp champion, teleport... Teleport... Teleport with fly wing, after teleport a mvp are closed, I used painkiller potion and try use asura strike. But u strategy, unbeliveble.
Some servers behave differently, like automatic recall when the mob is too far away. Here on iRO classic, the mvp never recalls the mob unless it attacks or is idle. But it is chasing the entire time here.

Exactly how I feel about it. I used to hate on renewal a bunch, but I think it’s actually just third classes. Revo classic was actually pretty fun, aside from wizards being pretty weak because of the renewal mechanics.

i kill this mvp every single day. it is a suck emulator and offline server with 100% drop rate. Another thing dude, the mvp recall their slaves while chasing. I agree when someone say hes fire wall skill is good but its not possible to do at oficial emulator.
I just saw this and I can clarify a couple things. The server is iRO Classic, an official pre-renewal server. I actually did this back in 2009 on iRO Chaos i277.photobucket.com/albums/kk63/squirrel_56/screenChaos317.jpg The mob's AI happens to be bugged in this video. That is not always the case, and if they weren't bugged they would be using skills like you suggested. You can tell that the mob is bugged when they do not move back to the mvp when > 2 cells away. You can probably find videos that show one part of the mob following the mvp, while the other part stays idle. The mob bugs when the mvp recalls during their movement. The mob unbugs if it ever chases, is attacked, or recovers from stun/freeze (they're boss type though). As other's have mentioned, the mvp does not recall while chasing. Classic's drop rates have shifted around a little. They are about 1.5x rates and then there's HE gum (+200%) and VIP (+50% or +100%). You can't really declare 100% drop rates with just 2 monster kills. 2 Axes did not drop from the MS, and hibram did not drop a spiritual ring. 2 Spears was actually pretty common in those rates.

Responding based on google translate. This was done on an official server: iRO Classic. The mobs not casting skills or following the mvp are the result of a bug that causes them to get stuck in their moving AI. It was not necessary for this method, but it sure was convenient. It's empty because I teleport everything away before I set up. There's no random mobs because nobody else is there! :)

MVPs do not recall while in chase, if they're recalling, you're being hit. (Or going too far off screen for a split sec)
