Cooking in India without turmeric is impossible 😀. Try turmeric tea, it's very good for cough n cold . It's a natural antiseptic.We use it for small kitchen cuts...just cover the cut with a pinch of turmeric.
Kimmie, Paige may come over the line because if she is behind the green tape, she cannot see you when you are at the sink/window area. They like to have their eyes on you. The cream of tartar was probably bought to make meringue or tartar sauce. I do make my own tartar sauce, my family won't touch anyone's or store brand at all. It's my great aunt's recipe and it's da bomb! That's the only thing I use cream of tartar for but I do know some people use it to make their meringues extra stiff. Chicken bruschetta casserole, stove top stuffing, italian crushed tomatoes, cubed chicken, the bruschetta season I bought because you tried it 😄and mozzarella cheese. I found the recipe on the stove top box and it was a fast easy meal the family loves.
I picked out a birthday card for my sister that played "Happy" on it. I started cleaning yesterday, I got the kitchen and living room and bedroom done. Thank you, I just made my bed, I love making my bed in the morning. I've been becoming more of a morning person, because I love the sunshine.

I use a drawer in my kitchen for spices, and have them laying down with the labels up. I also alphabetize them. Makes them so easy to find and use. Just bought some wooden doweling to keep the rows separate and the drawer tidy. They last longer being in the dark, and also because I have them in glass (rather than plastic) containers.

Hey Kimmy ( fyi) all spices expire just like food. Also cream of tartar is great for cleaning stainless or metals, and is a more expensive spice. Turmeric is great in almost any sauce or veggie. Its tasteless in my opinion but a great anti inflammatory. I add turmeric and brewers yeast to almost every meal as a healthy non taste adding additive. I also only buy a few spices in large quantities. Mostly everything else I get a little of from Sprouts. And when my spice mixes ( Mrs. Dash, Magic Chef) get low I mix them into a different blend that I have more of, or a new bottle of. ( eg I would have mixed all those mrs dash together and used in a crockpot chicken or beef dish) The blends mix well and are actually a great finishing spice as you are about to complete cooking a dish. Paige is just wanting to see you. Thats a real thing with dogs, they need to visualize you I learned. Also she has imprinted on you so then its even more of a real necessity for her to see you.

Im noticing that in my house, the vitamins are in the kitchen and our prescription bottles are literally everywhere -all over the house because we just don't remember to take them if their not out. Also, what do you do with all your first aid stuff and other medicine like cough syrup & pepto when you're not using it??? Do you have any tips for organizing these items so they are tidy but still convenient?

Thinking about how the broccoli seemed to disappear in your chicken meal when cooked, great way to hide vegetables from the kids in a meal, if they don’t like them I’m sneaky like that...
I think there are other veggies that work better for that than broccoli. Zucchini, for one, and grated carrots in pasta sauce. I find that overcooked broccoli has a strong and foul taste and odor.
I can't help but notice you have 3, maybe 4 bottles of what seems like dish soap on your counter.... any reason? 😁 do you use different soaps for pots and pans ?
Not trying to be negative because I do like your show but you waste a ton of water when you load the dishwasher. Perhaps instead of running the water the whole time you can make a warm soapy mix in a separate bowl and use it to wash of all the dishes before loading or just some warm water in a bowl and use a sponge to wipe off. Just a friendly suggestion.

I have a spice rack that fits 18 spices, I got it from Amazon, and I really like it. It hangs on the wall.
