Secondly, I am also traveling to Turkey for Rhinoplasty in August, and I am actually from Portland Oregon as well!!! My main questions are about your visa. Did you apply for a gate visa at the airport or did you do an e visa and if so, did that suffice? Did you convert any of your USD to Lira? Seriously thank you so much for the information. You are like my angel right now as I have been so stressed and confused!

I’m happy to help any of you ✨✨✨ I got my visa before because you can get it at the airport but I just in case they were closed or what not I just did it online and it was perfectly fine (just make sure to cover the dates you are there so if you are there august 9-12 make sure to make the visa within that time frame. There was a lady who made a mistake and was off by one day and she had to pay for a new one). I converted $100 to liras but ask your doctor if they will accept usd and they will just look up the exchange amount from euro to usd!

This is amazing. Some doctors really know what they’re doing! I recently went on a consultation in NY and apparently my nose has thick skin so there’s not much to do about it and apparently he said a nose like that would look “stupid” on my face. Also mentioned that I need to lose weight bc of the anesthesia (which I totally get it!) but added “you would also look better”. I felt so discouraged and I was on the phone crying to my bf about it. After watching this video I want to go out again and go on consultations with various doctors to see what they say.
Wow what a jerk!!! I’m sorry for your bad experience, but wow what a a*hole! Who says that shit??! You won’t look stupid! So many Turkish doctors know to create a shape that fits your face. Most don’t make much change to the size but tweak certain aspects to make the nose appear smaller!

@@marilynbarboza3316 it went good! the first 2 days it was honestly the worst I was in pain and just felt sick. I didn’t get as bruised by my eyes or swelled up so that’s a good thing.. it’s been 7 days now I feel great!

Yes! The painkillers had no side effects. Very similar to Tylenol in America. They helped out a lot but didn’t make me drowsy or anything of that sort. My face swelled up a lot and that caused a lot of discomfort!

You can use your card almost everywhere! But I also converted $100 and you can ask if they will accept US dollars for your procedure! There are ATM’s below the hotel that will give you Turkish currency for only a $3.25 fee! (Much better than converting and losing more money with those fees)!

@@HadiaJenn I was wondering, that after surgery I saw that you felt tired. How long does this post-surgery fatigue last? I ask because I am a college student and I would like to know if I'll have the energy to go back to my studies after a week :)
I was exhausted for a whole 10 days but then much better after that! I think the flight also kicks your butt

Yes you will stay overnight in the hospital and you will arrive a day before surgery and leave on the 7th day after surgery checkup (evening of) or you can fly out the next day so 8-9 days
Hello, I understand you shouldn't put pressure on your nose and with the pandemic, masks are mandatory. How did you do it at the aiport since they require face masks and the long flight? I just had my rhinoplasty and will be needing to travel in a few days but nervous
Hi hun, I wore my mask but I had a cloth one and I would wear it above the bridge (as Hugh as possible) so it wouldn’t apply downward pressure on the bridge and tip!
Does it hurt to sneeze after a nose job?
It didn’t hurt but it sucked not being able to blow my nose like I normally would.

You meet with him the day of your surgery and sign the contract and all then. That’s scary I know but I just went for it and glad I did!

Hey, I wanted to ask you if you got the whole pack included with the surgery ( transportation and 7 days stay ). I was thinking to get it since I’m gonna get my nose job soon but many told me that it’s not worth it and that I should simply get a Airbnb and a taxi. I would disagree! The package was worth it and I felt safe with that decision sonce they work with the same company of drivers and the hotel!
