We truly lost an amazing guitarist/human being when we lost him. All that beauty and passion you can actually feel it in his playing. Now all we can do is imagine what he would have been. Too tragic for words really, he is the reason I started playing and remains, at least in my eyes, the best there has ever been.....period

He's actually "correct". Yngwie's real name is Lars Johann Yngve Lannerbäck , but he took his mothers maiden name (Malmsteen) later on.. When he came to America, he made it more easy for americans to understand, so he shortened it to "Yngwie Malmsteen".

Trust me on this, i'm an expert on dime's rigs, and have pics from nearly every era, including his storage warehouse where many of Dime's personal amps are stored.
