This is probably the best video ever made about properly white balancing, it helped so much. Thanks
This has been one of the most helpful videos on Lightroom I´ve ever watched. Thanks!
WHY DIDN'T I KNOW THIS BEFORE?!? Thank You! This was extremely helpful.
This is the fastest and most effective way to fix the WB. Thank you, thank you!!!!
Wow! This is a gamechanger! Thank you
many thanks, awesome trick !
Amazing!!! Thank you!
This tip really helped me out tremendously. Thank you!
I learned this awesome technique from a video with Albert Dros. Really great one!! My workflow is now totally changed, and I get way better colors!
Thanks for watching Christoph. I'll have to check out Albert, sounds like he knows his stuff.
Really helpful alternative to using eye dropper tool!
Thanks Mike! Keep watching, more to come...
Another great video
I appreciate that
This makes perfect logical sense. Appreciate it!
Sometimes the simple way can be the most effective as well.
Woah! This works. Amazing. I had my Canon 90D DSLR modded for astrophotography. They take out the Infrared filter. Makes nebula much better, shows more detail, but makes normal pix a little pink / purple.
I bought white/gray/black card set thinking I'd need them, but I just did tests and your method is quicker and does better.
Plus will work if I move to different setup than the card. (Plus it's fun to output the totally saturated working shot and share it. lol.) Thank you!
Also, I only tried this in Lightroom, but I bet it would work in Photoshop, and I would guess it might work in any pro or pro-ish photo editing program.
Yes, it works in any editor.
Interesting new technique to add to the LR toolbelt, thanks
You're welcome! Glad you found it helpful and thanks for watching.
Good tutorial. I haven't been able to applied succesfully to a landscape photograph, but I guess I'll need some practice.
You can use the exact same technique with landscapes except that there may not be anything in the image that you can use for reference (like skin tones), so you just need to make a creative decision about whether you want the image warmer or cooler. But increasing the vibrance and saturation just makes it easier to visualize that balance.
Awesome, thank you!
Glad it was helpful. More videos coming soon...
You left the shadows on +100 for the pic of the sea
I'm a beginner in using lightroom, do you mind telling me the goal of the adjusting of white balance, because I notice that these photos look less beautiful right now after this editing😅😅
Proper white balance will likely give you more accurate colors. But photography is art so do whatever you think looks best.
also idk if this intentional it jumps at 4:22
WB is cool and all but why is your audio so fucked :DD
bro I'm so sorry for your audio levels
Me too! Just the stuff I had to work through with a growing channel. You'll see I worked it out in the newer videos.
