  • www.truthforlife.org || By: Alistair Begg - ( 1 Samuel 17:12-30) After forty days of Goliath’s taunting, David was dismayed to find Saul and his army still paralyzed by fear. He had no concern for the king’s reward or his brother’s approval. Rather, emboldened by a zeal for God’s glory, he asked the important question: Who can defy God? As Alistair Begg teaches, God would soon use the hands that delivered food to his brothers to deliver something far greater. No one is too great to be defeated by the Almighty, nor too small to be used for His glory.

The living God takes us places. Not the other way around. I tried resisting. It’s not only futile, it comes with punishments so severe it makes the thought of death a constant reality, every day is a petition between is this the day I’ve had enough. I wish I had turned 19 years ago. I have now. My years will be restored by the Grace of the Lord God on High.

GLORIOUS GOD AND BLESSED SAVIOUR!!! WAUHHH!!! SUCH A WONDERFUL "INDEPTH" SERMON on David & Goliath!!! 🤗 🤗 🤗 Pastor Alistair Begg was saying, that 'David's hands brought bread to the King's army and David's young hands also finally defeated the army's cruesome enemy, the Giant Goliath with a stone from his own sling.' Wauhh!! Yes, when Pastor Begg mentioned this, i immediately was reminded of Our PRECIOUS SAVIOR, THE LORD JESUS CHRIST, who Is the" Bread of Life" and who defeated Death & Sin on the Cross, raising from the dead and is alive forever more. Halleluyah!!!! 🤗 🤗 🤗 💓 This is such a beautiful story, & one can recognize, that this selected scripture is very much on the heart of the Pastor. He teaches this sermon, filled with the HOLY SPIRIT reflecting GOD'S GLORIOUS LIGHT to his audience! GOD BLESS Pastor Begg & his entire Family & his entire mininstry & congregation!!! 🤗 🤗 🤗

      😇 I'm surprised You Care 😇
I really don't feel like it's something that needs explained to you. However on older sermon broadcasts it was infact white/cream colored, and I prefer it so for sever reasons, one reason being easier to see Alistair with light reflecting.
No need to reply further, Thanks

@@jasoningram4617 if you’re more concerned about the color of the pulpit than the content of the sermons, you might need to talk with God.

This has been an excellent study. One “peeve” though. For the titles can you put the verses in them, e.g. “Why Have You Come Down | 1 Samuel 12-18” might seem petty but it would help as it allows for easy follow of the series.

Hey Joseph, if you get the app, you can search it by verse and find the exact ones you want. I understand your struggles. :) what a blessing we have in these sermons, eh? God bless. :)

czcams.com/video/m3nX1wWVXaU/video.html - You have to wait a couple of days, that's all. And only if Alistair preaches.
