Just returned after a week's trip to Azerbaijan...wonderful country and people but a few tips to note: 1. Money can be changed only from banks and Azerpost (0900-1700 Mon-Fri) against passport verification.
2. Bolt taxi drivers don't return loose change.
3. Unused Mannat can be only exchanged after passport control/immigration @ Premium Bank counter. Check the bank notes thoroughly and demand for invoice. I was handed over a soiled USD 100 note of the year 2003 issue. Was refused both at Dubai and Bahrain duty-free shops and airport exchanges. Stuck with it now.
4. All electrical sockets are round 2-pins.
5. Use Baku metro and Bolt. Very economical and convenient.

What will be the taxi fare from baku to shehdag (bolt) or which transportation is more economical

You can take bolt cab to there which will be cheap if there are 4 people , in my case I took a big Mercedes 7 seater which costed me around 100 manats(4900 INR) for 215 kms and small car costs less on bolt app and it’s better to take big one if you are Travelling in group of 4 :)
