Excellent video and work on this model. It gives me some good ideas. It's especially good that you give links to the items you used. The only thing I would do differently is to put the differential thrust on the rudder (yaw) stick channel with a mix for each motor to the rudder channel. The inboard motor would have less thrust than the outboard motor. Moving the rudder stick would slow down one motor towards the turn. Right motor slows down turning to the right.
Really great little boat! I'm amazed that those tiny brushed motors could spin those large props!
Thanks. The 370 size motors have different power versions. This version is about 90 watts.

A great project. For myself I'd be happy just using a piece of 2 x 10 or 12 with a pointed end. Above waterline motor, possibly with the 775 that I already have. Cheap and dirty.

Hi, thanks for your work. I have some questions ;-;
1-Why did you cut one of the esc wires?
2-Can I use a single joystick to control it? up-down for speed and left-right for turning? And manage the distribution of motors with arduino code? (I'm building my own rc transmitter (with your tuto)). Up-down gives speed and left-right adds speed to a single motor to turn the boat.
I don't know how ESC works, so I don't know.
One ESC's BEC supply is sufficient for the receiver. I cut it because there was no need for the second one. But cutting is not necessary.
2 engines can be managed from a single lever, but this requires channel mixing. I did not use Arduino for this boat. A normal remote control is enough for everything. If you are going to use the remote control you will make with Arduino, it will be easier to use the inner motor with two separate joysticks. Otherwise a mix is required.

Let's please build something to deliver tackle for about 300-500 meters in the sea? Or let's discuss at least? For surfcasting to tsipura and etc. I think there sould be brushlessmotors and more strong radio module with high antenna. And yeah it's a good question how to get boat back without gps especially in the sea with waves.. Do you think drone would be much much easier for this?

In minute 10:30 you take off the red cable for CH2, but you didn’t do this for CH1, can you explain what is this for?

The red wire is the supply wire coming from the ESC's BEC circuit. Powers receiver and servo. There are two ESCs. But one power is enough. So I canceled one of them. But you may not. No problem. Parallel connection after all ...
