Aimee reveals Ella gets assaulted in an upcoming and heartbreaking episode, and the pair also tease some other major clues for fans. The new season of ‘Lucifer’ premieres on Netflix on Aug. 21.

I think the writers are gonna for a lack of better words "dumb her down" when it comes to Lucifer/ Michael so she wouldn't figure it out at least not too soon. Maze and Amenadiel figures it out sooner, but I hope they tell Chloe.
@@girlontheclouds2936 There are two clips in the trailer which make it clear and both happen in episode 1.
Clip 1) Michael claiming to be Lucifer 2.0 but Chloe clearly isn't fully convinced.
Clip 2) Chloe tells Linda "Lucifer is acting different"
Either Amenadiel or maze will probably tell her about Michael in episode 2 but she'll know something is wrong beforehand.

If Ella finds out who they really are the whole series mood will change because she brings the mood. (My opinion)
From things she's said about "the Devil" before, I really expect her attitude toward this powerful archangel she's come to know on a day-too-day basis (from puns and favors to wealth and Lux) will not change noticeably from unemployed actor / powerful businessman. It could momentarily shake the big brother vibe (Big Brother vibe?), but apart from simultaneously realizing Amenadiel's an angel, Rae's no ghost, Mazikeen really is from Hell, her natural exuberance would not be overwhelmed more than a moment. She is, after all, the woman who got him to church. And he never took advantage of her crisis of faith. Might be upset all over again about his return to Hell without a word... but she's Ella.

Possible Cliffhanger: When Michael somewhat creates a mess, he will do his best to gain the help of Lucifer’s friend and turn them against Lucifer, causing Lucifer to feel betrayed.

This series has one of the most diverse storylines every season. Many others, esp. ones adapted from comics most often turn out very repetitive. Kudos to the screenwriters and Tom for bringing that to life!

I think it’s either about when Chloe is wearing the black and white stripped shirt she notices it’s not really lucifer. Giving him a odd almost scared glance. Or when lucifer (or Michael) is on the ground and Chloe runs up to him with fear in her eyes as she’s screaming. Idk what that scenes about but I haven’t heard alotta people talk about it

A few people have commented it's because it appears that for a split second Chloe seems to have flipped a guy one handed while also holding a gun.
@@airbear8240 I was also thinking the same but I think that she flipped the man one handed and carried the gun in the other hand. But then remember there was a cut where the person was already on the ground so maybe they cut it fo reduce the length of the scene. But, I think that she gets some powers or she gets possessed.
how funny! I just started rewatching the show from the beginning season again and I caught that with the name michael! ha
so super excited about this season in a nervous nauseus way, lol. Here are my thoughts:
1) i think maze will be the first person to notice its not lucifer. she's so ready to beat the crap out of him for leaving without her that she'll hunt him down the second she hears he's back.
2) DB's hint about Chloe: couple shots that might be what he's talking about. If you can take your eyes off Tom's butt in the mirror scene you'll notice the wing scars are missing and it does look like michaels looking at someone in the mirror. B) the scene where michael saves chloe from the car crash during what looks like a shoot out his wings are black and we know lucifer's wings have always been white.
3) i think being lucifer's twin that michael's "power" will be the opposite of lucifer's. lucifer sees people's deepest desires - i think michael's will be seeing people's deepest fears.
4) Ella's assault - this breaks my heart to say but i think michael attempts to either rape her or beat her up. not sure how they'd get back from this but.... well IDK.
5) cliff hanger - i think it will end with chloe's death. at michael's hand. lucifer starts armageddon and God realizes he needs to come to earth and fix the mess he allowed to happen.
I really don’t think they’ll kill chloe but the rest of the theories seem plausible actually

Dont know man. I am either thinking it is the different hairstyles like in one scene she has her old hairstyle and in other scenes she has her new one. Or maybe her throwing a man down to ground with one hand (I think) meaning she also has some powers. I dont know.
It could be so much better with questions that aren't constantly pressing them to give information they're forbidden to give out. What the filming process is like, stories from BTS, anything but "what happens when..." or "who does..."

Great interview I think the person that finds out about Michael before Amenadiel is Trixie. Since she’s known he’s the devil from day one she would know that Michael is not Lucifer. I think Lucifer will come back at the end of episode 3 when Amenadiel goes to hell to tell him about Michael. Then in episode 5 all hell breaks loose. In episode 6 Lucifer and Chloe can’t get together because of constant interruptions until episode 7 you know how the writers like to string us along. Can’t wait bring on season 5
