  • On Sunday 14th January 2024, we visited Dudley to film the progress (quite considerable) on the Black Country Valley extension and we covered the area from Flood Street to Tipton Road close to the Very Light Rail Innovation Centre (VLRIC) and the Black Country Living Museum.
We also saw former West Midlands Metro T69, 16, parked outside the VLRIC and CAF Urbos 3s, 32 and 35 inside the VLRIC having attention to the bodysides - the last two be completed.
It was the first time that we had walked down Castle Hill since the Dudley Hippodrome had been demolished and it was the first day that Dudley bus station had been closed to allow track to be prepared and laid.
