On first use, I put two tablespoons of Kroger popcorn in the popcorn popper. It proceeded to just spit the corn kernels out of the popper. So I searched why it was doing this. I decided from the above video that I needed to possibly put more kernels in the popper. I did so and it did better but did spew out a few kernels. I see that the company says to use a bigger kernels which I will try after I use up the bag I have. I will say that this popcorn was very good. It tasted so much better than the popcorn that I have been popping in the microwave in brown paper bags. Make sure you use a large bowl.

Do not buy popcorn packages that you throw into the microwave. Very unhealthy.

It does a great job in popping seeds but I do struggle to put the lid on, not the melting butter tray but the lid on the popper itself. Any help available ? Thank you !

I just got one. But it does not turn kernel to popcorn it just blows them out. Maybe I do soemthing wrong. Watched youtube and saw that i did everything correct
Hey there! Thanks for reaching out! There is a chance that the popcorn kernels you are using are too small. Small kernels don't do very well in air poppers. We recommend Orville Redenbacher or Pop Secret
can't find large popcorn kernels, I use Orville Redenbacher's & it is fresh but it didn't pop. What brand of popcorn kernels would work for the machine?
You're absolutely right, we do recommend a certain type of kernels for the best results. Now, if you noticed only a few kernels didn't pop, no worries - that's totally normal. But if you've got a case of all-kernels-staying-put, it might be the popcorn itself rather than the machine.

can you use microwave popcorn kernels in the popcorn maker?
Microwave popcorn kernels have flavorings that coat the kernels, so you can't use them in air poppers because they will get stuck on the damn and burn 🔥
Can u put salt in with the popcorn kernels? So the salt sticks to the popcorn with it?

I bought the Amish style popcorn kernels for this, and at the beginning of popping, the kernels just kept flying out. I couldn’t understand what I did wrong. I thought I purchased the right kind of kernel. I don’t want to fling kernels back into the popper every time it spits it out at me. 😅

You should not put oil. The recommended size for the kernels to have more popped is 6mm.

help how do I put lid on afraid I will break the little tabs on the side
Hi 😊 Thank you for reaching out! You need to place Top Cover onto the Body until it clicks into place.
There's a trick to getting the lid on. line up the BACK tab first, and make sure it's down at the back. Then line up the side tabs, which won't go in at first. Once the side tabs are lined up, hold down lightly above the side tabs, and LIFT the back of the lid, and they'll drop right in. You only need to lift it up about 1/4 inch, and it'll go on perfectly every time.
So disappointed, really wanted this to work. My kiddos love popcorn😞but this dash popcorn maker pops out more unpopped kernels while in the making than popped popcorn all together.
I used a smaller amount (possibly like 30 kernels) to try it the 1st time it's not like I overfilled it. Some tasted a little stale perhaps not fully popped? 2nd time even lesser and same result even though it says it pops16c at a time.
I got mine at target (not Amazon) and I will be returning.

Hey there! We're so sorry you're having trouble! For air poppers, sometimes smaller kerneled popcorn doesn't work well. Standard large kernel popcorn is the best for air popping, we recommend Orville Redenbacher or PopSecret. Here are some other helpful tips for making perfect, fluffy popcorn!

Would love it if you could provide us with some additional details on what is happening with the unit when you turn it on. For example, is it heating up? Is the fan not functioning properly? These details will help us better understand what is going wrong and whether troubleshooting is needed or if the product itself is defective, which we will be happy to replace. Here are a few notes that may help you right away:
Type of popcorn: The Amish style black popcorn is not optimal kernels to be used for types of popcorn makers like air-poppers. The reason is because they tend to be smaller in size and weight and are more likely to blow out of your unit.
The amount of popcorn that you use is also important. Using less than the recommended amount outlined in our manual, increases the likelihood that the popcorn will blow out of your unit because there is less mass inside the unit, making it easier for the hot air to blow out the kernels.
Finally, “dry” popcorn can also cause issues. While this may seem strange, if the kernels you purchased have been sitting on the shelf for a while, the kernels may be a little too dry to use in an air-popper. Popcorn kernels do require a little bit of moisture, that when heated, expands and provides the fluffy texture we all know and love. We would recommend that you fill a 12oz mason jar (or a similar sealable container) and add 1 teaspoon of water before sealing, shaking, and allowing it to sit overnight.

I just got this and it's great. The only thing I would recommend though, is that when you add the kernels add some salt too because at the end when you add the salt, it's not evenly distributed and some pieces will have salt and some wont so, defanetly add salt when you can.
Hey there! Thanks for your message! We wouldn't recommend putting salt in with the kernels because the salt will fall through the holes in the bottom of the popper and won't end up on your popcorn! A great way to get even salt is to add a little salt as the popcorn is coming out of the popper and into the bowl :) Enjoy your popcorn!!
can you roast black chickpeas in it?

No sugar no salt makes the popcorn very tasteless.
