This song means so much to me In 2013 my daughter died from cancer and in 2016 I lost my son. Now my husband has dementia. I became so angry with God. I did everything but curse Him. Then I heard this song. It truly has become a blessing to me. I know He is taking me through this painful valley. I still wonder why and have a lot of questions, it helps to know He does care . I tread the path of a new worry, I may have cancer. I am at the same age as my Uncle John was when the disease claimed him many years ago (62), most of my relatives live into their mid-80's. If the Lord calls me I will say yes.
God has taken me through many valleys the last 7 yrs. Thru His grace & mercy, I have survived. Without His hand to hold, I would not have made it. Thank you, Lord, for all you've done for me! He has seen to every need. We are miracles to be alive , even Drs have admitted. I've rods in my back, four of them broken ribs, fracture on my face, and eye issues, husband almost bled out with spleen, broken ribs and surgery on clavical awaiting occupational therapy in couple of weeks. God cares and is opening doors for further ministry.

Dear Verona - the answer to your question is straightforward, but NOT easy. You need to get away from your circumstances. You HAVE to find a safe place, where you can talk to the Lord. It is clear that your environment is toxic. In my case, i have always been able to go to the sea and quiet myself there, looking at waves. I PROMISE you - the Lord WILL have fellowship with you and give you direction. And strange as it seems - He ALWAYS puts the right people on our path to help or nudge us... Maranatha!
