if you just stay in the moment and ask HS what to do, maybe you will set a boundary or maybe not ... we don't need to have an opinion on boundaries or anything else. The Holy Spirit Direct Route is really a wholesome way to live, we don't have to have any opinion for the most part. To me, when I can remember this, this is a big, simplifying relief and cuts out a lot of being in your head. I love that you have such intimate glimpses of Helen which provokes in me a richer experience of her. I just recently got your version of the Course on Audible and am savoring listening throughout the night. I am in good company of several ACIM luminaries and podcasts, so happy about the mighty companions because I am not fortunate enough to have any in the flesh.
I just love the cameo's they are so helpfull. My favorite is the chain of miscreation. But the Mike cameo has that something special where you are just amazed by the example of how clear the message is and how loving it is simultaneousely. Those quality's usually don't go hand in hand. A wonderfull lesson to learn to live up to... 📖
I once used to resolve some of my own interpersonal issues by cutting people off completely. I subsequently realised that not only was that too cruel, for the other person AND myself but also too final. I think though that there are situations where one does need temporary suspension of communication but to let the other know that it is only temporary until both are ready for recontact. Would the Holy Spirit agree? I don’t know. Any thoughts ?
In our view it wasn’t just kindness. It was a form of other-oriented pure kindness that is so rare in this world. Setting boundaries has become its own form of attack. In Helen’s case, she set a boundary for his progress vs her protection and we felt that was worth showcasing as an example of Course principles in action.

I don't see what's so special about what Hellen did. So in the end she just dropped "the hammer" on Mike anyways, albeit in a "kinder" way.
