This is probably one of Peter’s best interviews and that’s saying something being as almost everything that leaves his mouth is full of common sense, wisdom and sincerity. A lot of people could learn a thing or two from what he says in this interview, especially the part about AJ having yes men around him and carrying the world on his shoulders.

Usyk is blessed with an inbuilt sharpness. His speed of thought and movement that comes from a very sharp brain puts him on another level than opponents. Even his speech is sharp. His gift of a very sharp brain transfers to all of his bodily movements. It’s probably not really something he has to work on, he’s just got it.
It's that and his sheer willpower. What most impressed me when I watched all his matches before the first fight was not only his boxing ability but the guy is tough as nails and will always come back.
I think AJ couldn’t get uppercuts in because Usyk was hardly ever close enough. Usyk doesn’t throw many short or long punches, they always seem to be at medium range. With his amazing footwork, he’s rarely too close.
An absolute fantastic reader of a fight. Knowledge is fantastic. Has a really great characteristic every coach wants, he can break seemingly complex ideas down to the basics, meaning a fighter can understand it so much better.
The man said it towards the end: hard work and discipline. Good to hear and more than anything condolences to the family for the tragic loss off a life cut short.
