Four days after Her Late Majesty Queen Elizabeth's death in Balmoral, events and ceremonies at Holyrood Castle in Edinburgh where HLM's coffin had been brought. This brief clip is about the history of the Castle, and we see the very early days of Major Jonathan Thompson, as he was then, as Equerry to the new King Charles and Queen Consort. Surrounded by his comrades from Balaclava Company in 5th Scots of the Royal Regiment of Scotland. Jonny was based in Edinburgh as Commanding Officer with his Company previously, so knows the city and Scotland well, as well as being based at Stirling Castle while serving with another RRS division, and growing up in the Highlands. #Equerry
