I'm so glad and happy to ride completely alone and by my self. Being a good man and a decent character brings you the respect of all the people you meet, sooner or later.
Best trips I had was alone. With others this always happened: one is always riding too fast thinking it's some kind of race. Then always a guy get lost and have to call him and then waste time finding a meeting spot. Also you have this idiot who is tailgating you constantly and have no clue about safety. Riding alone is best
My uncle was in a "no women" club in the south. Somewhat notorious, name won't be mentioned. He decided to get leave the club after years and get married. His "brothers" chained him to a tree, beat him and left him for dead. Just leaving the club put a target on his back everywhere he went and often had a lot of one on one's if other members saw him. It took years before they stopped seeking vengeance over his leaving. A friend decided to join a "club" and after a few years he decided he wouldn't kick someones ass he didn't know and he was given an ultimatum, leave town within a week or the club would beat his ass every time they saw him in town. He had a house and a family to move within a week. He didn't have the mindset his club expected, he was too nice a guy and had a moral sense that was higher than the groupthink of the MC. Not all clubs are bad, but you better know the members really well before jump into something you aren't prepared for. Might want to stick with a local Harley riding group or a Christian one. You'll be investing a lot of time you could better spend elsewhere maybe raising a family instead club activities that require. you to be on call for their dirty work. Club life isn't for most people. Talk to an ex member, they'll be the only people telling the truth. You'll be every other members gopher for a few years because you'll be the low man on the pole. People are people and can get weird in any group. Some weirder than others. Real brotherhood is family and friends, no motorcycle required.
You're right, club life is NOT for everyone. I strongly suggest people thinking of joining a club to pay attention during the hang around period. If it's slightly not what you're into, walk away because it only get amplified after that. Thanks for watching and commenting. It's people like you that truly make this channel unique.
@@FingersFew I appreciate you're not advocating anything but telling people what the process. is. I chose service in the Army for 12 years rather than a club. I'm an "Airborne Brother" that's as far as I got into any brotherhood. Just a different path. Real brotherhood exists in the heart and mind. I liked many of the men I served with, didn't like all of them. We as men have a need for a brotherhood of sorts, sometimes it can be expressed in very negative ways. A man can be a brother outside of any organizational structure.

Been in and around a few clubs, also spent a very significant time in state prisons. For real there's no loyalty at all. When times are good and everything's going smoothly great. But that never lasts long. every time I was arrested it was because of a allegedly so-called brother. After 18 years of prison I prefer to be on the outside. If you want to put your freedom in the hands of somebody else go join a club!!!

Thanks for the information and honesty. I worry about kids thinking they need to be hard and joining. Life in an MC is not for everyone, in fact it’s not for anyone. Most ride for the brotherhood but the few ride for the profit off of others.

Your video is fine. But I want to give my opinion: This type of videos that say things about "How to join an MC" "How to wear your vest" "What patches to wear" etc. These are things that a biker must discover on his own account and without the need for help. They are things that one must find oneself by hook and by crook, by experiences, by mistakes, good and bad decisions. Obviously it is more extreme, but if you really want to be a 1% biker, start by discovering your own evolution and path towards that extreme world, you must prepare yourself for everything bad, nothing in this life is good, not even in an MC. If you did, congratulations! You are one of the few classic bikers who still keep that authentic essence, because you learned from your mistakes and your experience. So please let's not turn this movement and this culture into a newbie fad. God bless you and good luck on the road.

As a hungaround for over 6 months now and willing to continue to get the full patch member and am telling you guys choose wisely the mc you gonna join and if ur there just for the fun time don't join it because when things get ugly you'll run like a baby boy and you'll get yourself a bad reputation. When u become a hungaround learn the names of anyone, show ur face everytime they meet, serve them just like you would serve your dad or your brother, ride with them and enjoy their company. Built for yourself a reputation of a solid dude who can help a brother anytime and i can tell your that they notice anything that you do and every mistake that you made. If you make a mistake then apologize sincerly and if anyone is our of order even an officer talk about it you are not there to be their bitch everyone has to be respected no matter his statue. Be who you are because if you are acting then time will show who you realy are.
I wanna ride ALONE. Live and let live. Don't need any "M.C." on the road - NOTHING beats that sensation when there's only YOU, your "2 WHEELS" and the ROAD - NOTHING ELSE MATTERS.
Most of my local clubs are really just friends who were similar clothing/patches to identify each other or signal that they are riding together. A lot of times, they meet with the dominant club of the area and get permission to wear a fully patched cut (sans certain rockers such as bottom rockers) and as long as they stay out of the dominant club's way, they live and let live.
Great stuff. A video on etiquette for people who want to hang at a biker bar but wish to stay independent and be respectful would be great... Have you done one of those? I'd like to teach my son now that he's of age and want him to understand how to be respectful without getting himself into any issues by being ignorant of the rules! (and I need a refresher too as a lady) Thanks! Peace
Being a hang around is the best. I used to be a hang around for a large club in Texas. I found out that the life wasnt for me, but it sure was fun hanging with them.
When I started hanging around. I walked in and shook everyone hand and introduce myself. Remove your glove if you wear them. Many find it disrespectful to leave your glove on. Just saying.
I had 2 brothers that I was always with we would back each other up no matter what right or Wrong it didn’t matter it was ride for one another but unfortunately they passed away after dropping me off at home one night if I had a choice I would trade places with them but I miss them everyday and the brotherhood cannot be replaced so for everyone that has that brotherhood hold it tight it really is something special the Type of friendship that is forged in the worst of situations that shows who is really a solid person that is quite literally willing to take a bullet for you is hard to find once you lose it you can’t get it back and you will spend the rest of your life wishing you could have it back

Being a good man and a decent character brings you the respect of all the people you meet, sooner or later.
Right on. AMEN.
Best trips I had was alone. With others this always happened: one is always riding too fast thinking it's some kind of race. Then always a guy get lost and have to call him and then waste time finding a meeting spot. Also you have this idiot who is tailgating you constantly and have no clue about safety.
Riding alone is best
I don't know if it brings respect from everyone, but at least you can respect yourself if you're a good man.

Aww man same here
My uncle was in a "no women" club in the south.

Some dudes apparently need a brotherhood ? Others just fall out the womb stand on their feet and get on with life .

@@quetzalcoatul1 that's not quite what I meant; that's more for people out of state who you've never met before.

Most of my local clubs are really just friends who were similar clothing/patches to identify each other or signal that they are riding together. find once you lose it you can’t get it back and you will spend the rest of your life wishing you could have it back
