My dad and grandma use to sing this song more than 30 years ago in their church choir in Chicago. I remember their choir rehearsals and when Im in Chicago, I pull out their choir rehearsal cassette tapes...yes cassette...and this is one of my favorites to hear them sing. My dad and grandma use to sing this song more than 30 years ago in their church choir in Chicago. I remember their choir rehearsals and when Im in Chicago, I pull out their choir rehearsal cassette tapes...yes cassette...and this is one of my favorites to hear them sing. They are both gone now - dad way too soon and I miss them dearly. I listen to this song and I just smile!!! Knowing that God truly is the joy and my strength!!!
