That's a classic Alfred Hitchcock camera move. Dolly forward with the camera, and zoom out at the same time. The person's face stays the same size but the background telescopes way out behind them. Hitchcock probably didn't invent it but he liked using it.

Weird Al still tours and still releases new stuff, which is an amazingly long career in music.
