I like the small detail in the eyes of the princess’s servant taking the princess’s place to be executed (the princess’s eyes have a lighter circle around the pupils while the servant has a darker shade)great way of making it link to the servant of evil!

it is a book, i recommend starting from the OSS novel and others or something before DOE. i think theres a translation by pricechecktranslations. mariogagabriel(?) has MVs of the songs in the series... warning, it's a long series and not just about an evil princess. 😭

She was also pressured as a kid into this by the adults and her parents. Also it was done by her to ease her pain + her servant tooked her place cuz theyr twins. Btw she reggreted afterwards and went , lived and died as a nun. Im not defending nor her nor her acctions but u gotta kinda see her side to. Its not as perfect as it seems

If the princesse was the only royal blood and she took the throne at such young age,then all she wanted was someone to open her eyes. When you look at it this way she doesn't have any family and went she saw the Prince she felt love and she couldn't help but destroy that kingdom, I fell sorry for her😔
