Yes I could relate! So far the 10 item wardrobe method has sped up the getting dressed process for me because I have a smaller assortment to choose from. Love it.
For future videos like this, just so you know , I prefer actually hearing you talk through each item and why you are keeping it or not etc. if the video gets very long then people who do not want to hear it all can just fast forward the video. I find it so frustrating when people do the sped up video. It is not helpful at all. It seems so pointless. Just thought I’d let you know.
I admire your desire to simplify your wardrobe. You made a lot of progress decluttering what you no longer wear. It seems that you ended up with a very reasonable capsule wardrobe. I am just confused why you called it a 10 item wardrobe when you clearly have more than 20 items. Really the number doesn’t matter if it works for you. Just reconsider your title.
Did you hear her explain how the 10 item wardrobe works in the beginning of the video? There’s a Ted Talk on it that explains it too. She did it correctly and definitely should not change the title of her video. Perhaps watch the beginning of her video again.
Yes just to clarify, the 10 item wardrobe is not exactly 10 items. The idea is to include 10 core items but this does not include outerwear, occasion wear, t-shirts/tanks because these differ based on lifestyle and location. Some of the styles I kept in my 10 item wardrobe are “special occasion” styles which is why you probably see more.
