he Indus Valley Civilization, one of the world's oldest, thrived around 3300-1300 BCE in the Indian subcontinent. Known for its advanced urban planning, the civilization boasted sophisticated sewage and drainage systems. Major cities like Mohenjo-daro and Harappa flourished, showcasing remarkable architecture and organized streets.
The people of the Indus Valley engaged in trade, evidenced by seals and artifacts found as far as Mesopotamia. Their writing system, yet to be fully deciphered, adds an air of mystery. Agriculture was pivotal, with the cultivation of wheat, barley, and other crops.
Unfortunately, the decline of the Indus Valley Civilization remains unclear, leaving historians with a fascinating yet enigmatic chapter in ancient history. Now, isn't that a captivating backdrop for a CZcams video by Faisal Warraich.

I live in Taunsa which is located between the center of Mohenjo-daro and Harappa. Yesterday as usual I went with my friend to the beach-type area in our city and we were chilling as we used to, but I spotted something unusual in the sand and asked my friend, while pointing to that thing, "What is that?" It looked like a round building-type structure and only the tip was a bit visible on the surface of the sand. I'll definitely go there tomorrow to analyze it more in depth and I'm pretty sure this is related to the Indus Valley Civilization.
Other than that, I listened earlier to my classmate who was telling me that there is a small village near our city. He told me that there is a very old city near that village and the people of the village are damaging those areas. I immediately thought that could also be a part of that civilization. These are areas that have never been discovered officially. Not even the government still knows about them. I would like, if there are any experts or authorities who are reading my comment, to invite them to come and observe these areas. You may find something new here.

Hinduism is often considered the oldest religion in the world, with roots dating back over 5,000 years.
Scholars believe Hinduism is a synthesis of Indian cultures and traditions, with diverse roots and no single founder.
Hinduism is also described as sanātana dharma, which translates to "the eternal dharma". This modern usage is based on the belief that Hinduism's origins lie beyond human history

As an archaeology major, I think you did an amazing job. It's very important for the people to know about their roots. Pakistan could be one of the top tourist countries in the world if the government and the people give respect and thought to these treasures. But, alas, no one is giving attention to archaeology and tourism in Pakistan and little to no efforts are being made to conserve the sites (mostly) and to unearth the hidden treasures.
Rather than teaching the students about the Muslim league and Sir Syed, the civilizations in Pakistan ( the Harappan and the Gandhara) should be taught in Pakistan studies and history. Because as a social scientist, I can assure you, what the schools and colleges are teaching in Pakistan isn't our history. Most of the events and the personalities are a hoax.
Fun Fact : Indus Valley Civilization is more preferably called the "Harappan Civilization" because it's not just bound to the Indus valley that's why according to the archaeological convention it's called Harappan Civilization.

What is the story of Manibhadra Veer?
He was declared as the Kshetrapal (Protector of the Area) because of his tremendous devotion. Manibhadraveer, as the legend goes, was born in his previous birth in Ujjain as a Jain shravak Manekshaw. He was a staunch Jain Shravak whose Guru was Maharaj Hemvimal Suriji.
Manibhadra Yaksha (or Vira) is a popular demigod among the Jains in Gujarat. His image can take many forms, including unshaped rocks, however in the most common representation, he is shown with a multi-tusked elephant Airavata.
Lord Manibhadraveer is known to create miracles. It is believed that one gets wealth and protection from evil spirits by worshipping Him. Not just Jains but even Hindus from Gujarat and the neighbouring state of Rajasthan flock in Huge numbers to offer their prayers and worships.

Indus valley civilization details are there in the syllabus. Image of Mohenjo Daro has been printed on currency notes for decades. State of Pakistan knows her essence is thousands of years old. But as she confronts Hindus, she suddenly starts claiming her origin from Muhammad bin Qasim, and we become new nation born in 1947. State is aware that we are ancient and we have changed many religions, yet we are also tought like we are Muslims since stone age.
Stance of the State is profoundly confused and self-contractory.
There is no doubt we are latest inhabitants of the Indus Valley which has power to orchestrate a whole civilization, as it has been doing for thousands of years. So we have an identity far greater and more real than what we have been imposed upon.
I appreciate some intellectuals in Pakistan have started raising this question.

    Unicorn 🦄 is PUNJABI!
Unicorn is fiction, but interestingly, seals found during Harappa excavation in Punjab 🇵🇰 depict images resembling unicorns. Greek stories also make references to unicorns in the region around the Indus valley. ‘We are so enriched with heritage’.
