About MLB.com: Former Commissioner Allan H. (Bud) Selig announced on January 19, 2000, that the 30 Major League Club owners voted unanimously to centralize all of Baseball's Internet operations into an independent technology company. Major League Baseball Advanced Media (MLBAM) was formed and charged with developing, building and managing the most comprehensive baseball experience available on the Internet. In August 2002, MLB.com streamed the first-ever live full length MLB game over the Internet when the Texas Rangers and New York Yankees faced off at Yankee Stadium. Since that time, millions of baseball fans around the world have subscribed to MLB.TV, the live video streaming product that airs every game in HD to nearly 400 different devices. MLB.com also provides an array of mobile apps for fans to choose from, including At Bat, the highest-grossing iOS sports app of all-time. MLB.com also provides fans with a stable of Club beat reporters and award-winning national columnists, the largest contingent of baseball reporters under one roof, that deliver over 100 original articles every day. MLB.com also offers extensive historical information and footage, online ticket sales, official baseball merchandise, authenticated memorabilia and collectibles and fantasy games.

Wow, Some Salty Commenters in here.
Another Great Season for the Cubs. They Started off slow, but once they got going, they proved why they were the World Series Champs in 2016.
"Got Lucky in NLDS"? Pshh, Please. Washington Blew that one. Poor Execution across the board. The Washington Nationals are to the MLB as the Dallas Cowboys are to the NFL. The Accident Waiting to Happen. Heck, They've NEVER made it past the NLDS. Each time they reach it, they have been Eliminated.
As for the NLCS, The Dodgers fully demonstrated that they Learned From their Mistakes Last Year, and they weren't going to be humiliated the same way they were humiliated in 2016. Not only that, the Over-reliance on Offense finally reached its limit. The Pitching couldn't keep up, and the Dodgers proved to have the Superior Pitching Crew in 2017.
In the end, There's no shame for how this season ended. The Cubs Got to the Playoffs, made it to the NLCS, and simply got beaten by a better team. There's work to be done in the Pitching Crew, but other than that, Cubs Fans can certainly look forward to 2018.

Dodgers pitching was so good in 2017, our pitching was able to keep us in some of the NLCS games but Dodgers were that much better.

Yeah, luck. LOL. That's why they had three straight LCS Appearances with one of them being a championship season. LOL. People just like to talk shit.
