Don’t forget to subscribe for more videos about CORNWALL and Falmouth I sometimes visit St Ives Cornwall and Padstow Cornwall too. Come here for everything from travel recommendations to beach reviews such as Perranporth Beach Cornwall. I also LOVE EXPLORING Cornwall’s coast line and the South West Coastal Path. Thank you for watching and commenting and liking the video.
I would panic a little if I ripped the interior like that. You did a great job and inspired me to try for myself! Thank you!
I am massively impressed that you only needed to use a bleep machine once Shaun, If I was doing the work you did the whole video would need to be silenced.
😂
I have a mate who's a dairy service engineer, as well as being a fairly handy mechanic on race/rally cars. His entire language is based around one word, 'f*ck'.
I've witnessed him use it as a verb, a noun and an adjective on more than one occasion.
As in, 'This f*cking f*ck's f*cked!'
Good job he hasn't got a CZcams channel, otherwise there would be a global shortage of bleeps.
Nice job, Shaun 👏. And an extra bonus point for saving the bee. 😊 🐝
Cheers
Another excellent video, thank you!
Great to see your new van progressing well.
You are certainly a motivated man!
I'm sure you and your family will have such great times in the future that it's well worth the effort and time going in to building it.
All the best 👍
Thanks Richard
Love watching your videos. Things are coming along well 😁
Good job! You were really in a great flow with this 😊 I am quite impressed, and also glad you didn't hurt your hand badly 😊
Thanks Torunn
Your doing an excellent job Shaun and am really enjoying the van build. Keep up the good work 👍
Cheers Nigel
Brilliant video again and looking forward to seeing your first video when you take the new van out for its first trip. You are an inspiration as since I first started watching your videos late last year have since bought a Ford Transit Custom, put a bed and kitchen in it along with electrics and a diesel heater. Vans are great after a days cycling, paddle boarding or walking to be able to get changed in and make a hot drink while thawing out next to the diesel heater.
Glad you’re enjoying the videos Matt
Great job Shaun, I'm really enjoying the build, you are doing a brilliant job buddy
Thanks 👍
Your doing an excellent job Shaun and am really enjoying the van build
Thanks 👍
The more I see your videos the more I like what you are doing. Excellent job to take us with you...first travelling, now building (absolutely great) and later travelling again. Thanks!!!!! Regards from Holland
Thanks Arthur glad you’re enjoying the journey
Wow, so many things to think about with this van build. I enjoy watching you figure things out.
Consistent quality and I really enjoy your videos.
I appreciate that!
That was one very successful day for sure mate and your van is coming on bit by bit and also u share some good tips 👌👌👍🏻👍🏻
Thanks 👍
Shaun. I am sympathetic with you on this battle. Just done reversing camera and DAB aerial on my VW. Much anger and the swear jar was full but so happy I did it. Everything is coming along well on your van, looking forward to seeing the next steps
Thank you Adam
Hi Shaun, it's coming on a treat. Wow, you have so much patience. Keep the vlogs coming 👍
Thank you, I will
Nice view of the local Halfords, keep the videos coming 😊
Cheers
Another great video you make it all seem simple .
Thanks 👍
Neat install and patience of a saint 👍
Thank you
Cracking job Shaun 🤟🤟
Keep them coming Shaun!
Thanks Josh
In passanger side A pillar wire loom you have green/brown stripe wire for reversing light, connect your green to this cable and screen will come on automatically when reversing and go off when nit in reverse.
There’s nothing like the anticipation of ‘will it stick? Or fall off’ 😂…… nice vid!
😂
Great video Shaun, keep up the good work 👏
Thanks Bob
Binged watched all 10 videos to catch up, really good series so far, appreciate the level of detail you are covering! Keep up the good work, looking forward to seeing the end result. Hoping to build a camper in the near future, this is all super useful! P.S Congrats on your baby!
Thanks for watching
@@LoveSundays Your welcome, its good content. Of all the camper conversion videos ive watched, this series indeed is by far the best. I think most people only give a high level overview, whereas you have broken down into smaller segments and covered more depth, thus its alot better.
Id be quite interested to understand how you plan and route all the electrics and plumbing as this is one aspect I need to learn more about. Would be especially cool if you will be adding solar panels, although might be a challenge with the roof rack in the way!
A shame this has as few views as it does. Came for a tutorial, stayed for the great content! Lovely work, and I appreciated you taking care of that bee so nicely.
Glad you enjoyed it
Very good video shaun. Great job with the camera
Thanks 👍
Good job mate
Good idea Shaun 💡 👏👌
Thanks 👍
Seriously so impressed by your skills .... I'm.stuck.trying to.throw a curtain pole up..
.( only took 45 mins ) lol
Thanks Ian
The second input is to connect it to the 12v reverse voltage so it only goes on when you put the gear in reverse
You have the patience of a saint as I could never spend that amount of time fiddling with wires. The vans looking great and I can't wait until it's finished. My wife thinks you should convert vans as a living as you are, as she says, dead good at it.
Thank you
With you upgrading and doing up your new van I recommend you investing in security cameras when your sleeping in the van and when your van is on its own look into it I would and you can have it hooked up to your phone for notifications 👍🏻
Good advice
@@LoveSundays especially all the time and money you putting into I put top notch security on it 👍🏻
Job well done mate
Thanks John
Nice to see you bk Shawn 🤙🤙
Cheers Dave
A productive day for sure 👌
Thanks
Good job . Well done
Thanks mate
Fair play to you buddy. I couldn't face all that wiring, so went for the option of a wireless reversing camera for mine.
Bit more expensive I'd imagine, but I'm lazy, and it saved me a headache and ballsing it up 😂
Yea I looked at those aswell but I wanted one that was built into the rear light to make it stand out less
Put mine in the transit last weekend... No instructions either... I ran a live & earth to the second battery to a switch which I can fix on the dash... Turn it on and off when needed... May come in handy at traffic lights or if something is going on behind the van... And the bonus is... I can use it for reversing 😉
Good idea
That’s the exact same reversing camera we have in our Tesco Vans
Nice one Shaun although after getting your hand stuck I did think you'd have the same issue with the glue haha
I’m surprised I didn’t 😂
Lovely job van is looking good ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks 👍
Nice job mate
That green wire will likely be the trigger wire, I've always taken it straight to one of the rear light clusters and taken power from the live at the reversing bulb.
As soon as the bulb lights up the camera will come on.
Always worked for me👍
Yea that was my first plan but I couldn’t find the reverse light wire but I can alway alter it later
It works, but you have to be careful because on CANBUS based vehicles you can introduce flickering to your video signal, or can flag a reverse light "fault".
Hi, thank you for the great video, very helpful indeed! Would you recommend the glue that you used for the rear view mirror? Cheers, Amelia
That’s a job that would test anyone’s patience for sure well done man
Yep imagine doing it for a living 😂
@@LoveSundays oh man that would be torture lol
Great video! Can I ask where you bought the tab to glue onto screen for the bracket to slide onto? Seem difficult to find. Have a Wolfbox with bracket but my van has no mirror so cant install until I have the tab. Cheers.
To mount the mirror bracket use ct1 adhesive is the best better then the mirror glue the only problem is that you have to leave it for a day .
A reversing camera l think they are brilliant got one on our Suzuki Beleno and a success it works
They are great
@@LoveSundays Defiantly this is the first car we have bought witth a reversing camera and rear parking sensers is that the next project
Getting things ready, it looks like you have things handled.
It’s getting there
Some displays allow for another camera for " rear view" and the other just for reversing...
I used that exact glue to repair my rear view mirror. I think the 15 mins is under ideal conditions. If it was cool to cold outside, you need to account for that. I pressed it for 30s and then left it overnight
Yes I think you’re right
Great great great job 👍👍👍
Thank you 👍
A positively featherlight touch removing the plastic trim ...
🤣😂🤣😂👍🏻
😂
This build if awsome and I’m enjoying it very much. What I like is your not rushing getting the build done and taking your time to get the van how you want it which is great. But at the same time Shaun I’m thinking you can’t wait to start using it.Are you going to incorporate anything into this build to use for taking your son away with you and your wife on weekends away or stuff like that .Grest build mate well done .
Thanks Rob when I start building the furniture the seating area will double up as my son’s bed
Once u install a reversing camera in any vehicle," ul never look back" 😂😂😂
Great video , well done from Ireland
Thanks! 👍
Hi Shaun great video if you have any problems with your camera sticking to windscreen try double sided gorilla tape from Screwfix I think if not could be tool station very good stuff used it myself after needing to restick stuff after having new windscreen fitted.
Thanks for the tip!
Even knowing that Brits call a ground wire "earth" it still always takes me a moment to realize what they're talking about.
Getting on nicely with it. I usually try to not buy kits that have instructions so vague, I'm sort of a james may type and like to have everything clear before I start or I lose interest haha 😂.. and isn't it easy to get carried away on jobs.
Yea me too I always like a diagram this is the problem with buying off Amazon though you never know what you’re gunna get
Great job 👍🏻I was wincing when you trapped your hand cus that's one of the worst ever stuck behind sharp plastic of any car/van 😆Spent many an hour in my youth wiring car stereo's and speakers in. Ahhh, those were the ear blasting bass days. The van is coming on good. Can't wait to see the interior build move forward soon. 🙂
😂
Hi good vid. I just bought a van with this system however mine has a forward facing camera and side cameras. The only one that works is the rear, have no instructions just wondered if the monitor can be expanded to handle multiple cameras . Seems strange as there’s only one other signal connector
Good job. That would’ve driven me insane.
Next time I’ll ask you to do it then 😂
Nice one !!!!!!! 😉👍🏴
Thanks! 😃
Ouch..glad you didn't hurt your hand to bad. I got my arm stuck changing a blinker light once. Lol
Dangerous game this isn’t it 😂
😂
doppelganger for james bye (martin fowler) eastenders, pretty certain 🤷🏻♂️🕵♂️😂
Is there not a way in such that the monitor can be screwed onto the dashboard if you didnt want it on the windscreen because a dash cam is in the exact same location?
Well done Shaun that's a really good addition to the van. Love these videos it's nice to see the van slowly evolve, keep them coming buddy. 😀
Thanks 👍
I have the same system but I purchased the dual camera (the reason why you have two channels). It works brilliant as I don't have any rear windows, so the other camera points backward and acts as an actual rear view mirror.
How long have you had the system installed? Another commenter said his only last 12 months before it stopped working
@@LoveSundays I'll be honest, I installed it less than 2 months ago. Which part is reported to fail? I've also ordered a Teyes radio to replace my dumb Citroen Relay's radio. If the monitor fails, I could hook into this instead.
Yes the guy said that the monitor just shows a blue screen
@@LoveSundays As in literally just a blue screen or as if the AV cable isn't connected? I could see that overtime an unprotected cable could easily be cut against the sharp edges of the van. I've installed my cable in trunking (like yourself) but who knows, it could be water ingress into the actual camera unit itself? Time will tell
Bro I would be screwed if it wasnt to for you! I have a camera wired like yours, no instructions, and cant find a good video demonstration. I'm the same in the way in that I don't want to be cutting wires (there's way too many) and hoping I find the right one; so I'm going to use your workaround; thank you!
Glad the video helped
The camera seems to be set in a different position looking at the colour boxes on your video at end of .
Great job....can you give a link for where to buy the reversing camera please 👍
Here you go Phil
amzn.to/40GlK6t
the transit van got stolen all the time. these methods may be helpful.
1) try to relocate the OBD port or hide it. 2) find the starter fuse or relay , relocate that or remove it when you park , 3) get a Faraday Bag for the key fob - put it in the bag as soon as you park and lock the car.
Good advice
@@LoveSundays just make it harder for the car theft. they may break the window and steal stuffs, but not the whole van.
Nice one mate I need one now council fitted a wheelchair ramp at me make so guess who got a dent in the rear door now 😂 ooops😢 😅
😁
Honestly nearly a injury very unlike you 😊 week by week it's getting to the more exciting bit of furniture the bit I,m waiting for
😂 thanks Ann
Yeah, van plastic is the 2nd hardest in the Mohs hardness scale , of course , Lego is the 1st .
😂
Morning Shaun. That vans looking good mate it’s all coming together nicely, you start doing it as a job mate 😊 just a question why do you have to put the camera on the windscreen? Why couldn’t you attach it to the dashboard somewhere like in the middle? Keep up the good work mate. 😊
I’m no where near good enough with my finish to do it for a living 😂
@@LoveSundays well it looks pretty good from where I’m looking mate.
I have got a reverse camera on one car. The Landie just has big bumpers 😅
😂
I’m desperate to fit a camera to Le camperboos
You can add an additional camera bud.
Which camera did you install? thanks
Every thing I’ve used is on my website mate www.lovesundays.uk
With links to Amazon
Try do longer videos if u can mate?
The link to the camera on Amazon is not working 🤔
Yea it’s an old link I’ll see if I can find you another link
amzn.to/4aanWs9
No link to the camera you installed

Me mams not make haha 😂
Bought this camera model. After almost a year all I have is the blue screen of death. The junk has to come out and some other non Chinese (aka reliable) hast to replace it. Total pain. Don't buy.
That’s annoying. I’ll keep everyone posted if the same thing happens to me
Perfect ADHD example... xD
Can you put a link in the description for what reversing camera you bought??
