A community that embraces each other and lifts each othet when needed. Thanks to ren and other winderful independent artists and the reactors that give us this platform to be able to be in this community. I come here every day for like 8 months now and its grown so much and the people have just embraced this rising tide lifts all ships attitude that Ren has and thats amazing. Also, let's get Ren's album "sick boi" a top 5 spot at least on the charts. Pre-order, it gets released Oct 13th. He has been grinding for yrs while sick and he deserves this. Not to mention the songs that I've heard are all bangers and I love them.
This song covers a few subjects. The first is his frustration with the health system and what he faced while sick and trying to get a proper diagnosis. It's also about his frustration with the music industry, and about human greed in general and how our behavior is destroying the earth in spite of our awareness of it. Also as a human he is careful not to exclude himself from this problem, hence him being the virus and the reason for bleeding the earth. It's all of these things.
Money Game 1 + 2 for more societal commentary like this. Number 3 is due out in October. Children of the Moon is super fun to watch and perfect for Halloween season. it’s a much younger Ren. I continue to be blown away by your intuitive reactions and how you articulate your thoughts. And in my humble opinion, the spontaneous English accent was pretty good! and kind of adorable. 😄 Sick Boi is one of my favorite Ren songs so thanks for reacting. In the beginning, the heaviness of the driving beat and the way it builds until it drowns out what the psych is saying unless you concentrate? It’s a brilliant representation of how it feels to live with both mental health issues and chronic pain. How as the pain or (in my case) anxiety increases in your head, everything else (life) becomes further away. It takes effort to keep yourself tethered. Ren is unlike any other artist I know - his genius is being able to put you in that experience. Like Violet’s Tale. So many (male) reactors get super uncomfortable when Ren does the turning up of the eyelids and gets close up to the camera. In that moment they understand what it’s like from the victim’s perspective - they feel it for a moment. It nurtures compassion. It makes us better humans. Sorry for the rambling novella. 😆💙🩵💙

I don't know why i find you so compelling but i really do! I think Ren tends to just give us himself. Whether thats angry, frustrated, happy, cheeky, in love etc. He doesn’t look at the stats and say, "ok, that one did well, i need to do more of that". Maybe it comes from the ADHD propensity for impulsiveness. Who knows, but at the heart of Ren lies truth.
