Here are the rules of this Rumble and potentially for Season 5!
1. Two different teams
2. You get a point for your team if you get an elimination
3. If two teammates get an elimination together it counts as 1 point for your team
4. If two guys from two different teams team up for an elimination, no point is awarded.
5. 5 points is awarded to the winners' team!

Dude, this has become one of my favorite "unwind and laugh" channels. I'm amazed that there's not more funny WWE glitch channels too, considering how chaotic the physics and collision detection in these games can get, same with stuff like FIFA.

This makes more sense plus, 5 points for a win is a bit much. Should be 3. So 2 points for eliminating other team, 1 point for same team and 3 for the win. Or 2 points for eliminating other team and -1 for elimination of your own team with 5 for the win.

I think that 5 points for a team victory is too many. It should probably only be 3. That way teams are motivated to win, but not guaranteed. It will encourage them to work together more during the rumble to keep their points up.

Tonight, a new format of sorts had been introduced into the latest royal rumble as somewhat of a preview for a brand new concept to take place for the next season in the new future. Now we’ve seen a mixture of several combatants from various companies pit against each other multiple times. But while the rumble stresses the importance of highlighting their competition individually, it should also be noted that those very stars represent a specific group they come from. That is where the subject of this rumble places great emphasis when fifteen members of DC Comics took on fifteen of Marvel’s best.
In this ongoing rivalry between two of the most famous comic industries, DC would ultimately stand tall against Marvel thanks to the winning performance of the ‘Man of Steel’ himself, Superman. We’ve seen Superman compete in various rumbles in this series over the years and at one point he was among the first 30 champions to compete in the season finale a long ways back. Now that he’s won a rumble this season, this will be the first time for Superman to compete in the Champions Rumble since Season 1. Now with all that hard work paid off, can he accomplish what he failed to do the first time? Can he win the champions rumble? Only time will tell.
Now who was my MVP of this Marvel vs. DC rumble? Let’s get down to the numbers:
Out of the thirty comic book stars featured in the match, fifteen of them managed to score some eliminations during this match (six Marvel stars and nine DC icons). The highest elimination count of the night reached up to ‘4’ superstars taken out, over an average ‘1’ elimination. I’ll give the Golden MVP Award to Deadpool for this match. True, he did not score as many eliminations as Wolverine did (Of course, he ‘was’ my other choice). So, why did I pick Deadpool? Because of the two eliminations he achieved, he was the one who removed Thanos out of the match. Thanos, the 2x Champions Rumble winner, who technically is in the upcoming champions rumble just for ‘winning’ the last one yet for some reason decided to take a spot in this match when there were OTHER Marvel icons to choose from… and my rant is over. Now Deadpool did not win the match, but to be the man to eliminate the 2x champion in a bout that’s not even the champions rumble… that’s a bold statement.
The Dull Participation Medal for the ‘lamest’ performance goes to Venom. As if fans weren’t entirely crazy about the string of Venom movies that have just been released, the fact that this powerful symbiote would be eliminated as quickly as he came in… that doesn’t leave much for the viewer to take in. The fact he even landed a spot in this rumble is a miracle onto itself.
With a 20-14 score tonight, it’s also important to grant an additional MVP Award to DC Comics and the entirety of their team. From the beginning of this match, DC started off hot against Marvel. Then of course they fought back and forth several times, few of their stars were close to winning this rumble. But once the last of Marvel’s competition were taken out, all that was left were DC’s men to finish the job.
Now as for my opinion on this format as a whole: I do feel it makes for a rather intriguing concept to work in ‘any’ other rumble match for the next seasons to come. That being said, if I were to make a few notes: The issue with some of these rumbles is that because there’s no ‘alliance’ system in place, the eliminations that were made were against a superstar’s own teammates. If it were me, I would set a limitation which for every elimination against their own teammate would lead to a deduction in points. The only exception would be if all the members of the opposing team are eliminated, that way the remaining team can earn points by eliminating each other but otherwise not till then. It sounds a little complicated, I hardly expect anyone to agree with this. It be just like scoring a goal on your own team, you expect to add that team’s score count for doing that?
Anyways, this was a fun match from start-to-finish. If there’s room for another rumble like this, there are so many rivalry style rumbles worth trying. Star Wars vs. Star Trek is a major example. Has it done before? Sure… but it’s all about taking an old concept and making it feel new again. But that’s up to Mr. J overall, whatever he wants to experiment with next I’m sure it’ll be fun.

I love this idea. Whatever it takes to keep these Rumbles going, we are here for it (yes, I am speaking on behalf of the people)
I like the team concept. One thing that could be really neat for Season 5 (or later) would be to appoint some of your subscribers as Team Managers and hold a fantasy draft to select the teams that would then battle it out in the tournament.

Only thing I would change is, since you get points for an individual elimination no matter which team, make it completely random instead of alternating team members' entrances.

Something to consider... Have some Rumbles with 6 teams of 5 and whoever wins, their team gets a point, and whichever team gets the most points after say 10 Rumbles, their team gets an advantage at the final Championship Rumble where that whole team will take the last 5 spots
Cool concept. Brackets and a tournament would be fun, the teams mean there’s lots of possibilities (Disney vs Looney Tunes, Autobots vs Decepticons, DX vs nWo, NJPW vs AEW etc).
Loved the new format and point system. It kept things fresh and captivating.
This was the most entertaining rumble yet because there’s so much potential for very intense moments. I like the idea of making an elimination on the opposing team worth 2 points and keeping it as 1 point for eliminating a teammate. Also 5 points is a bit much for the final elimination, it would be cool if a team was done by 4 and then they win because they manage to win the rumble and get those 5 points but it shouldn’t be that way, it should be a small chance to turn the tables but you don’t want it to consistently seem like the only part of the match that really matter is the very end. The eliminations and points from the entire match are meaningful and you don’t wanna ruin that. So I would say do 3 points for winning, and also it should not stack with the points you already get for the elimination. So basically, the final elimination would be worth 3 points and that is it, no +1 or +2 for the actual elimination, just 3 points flat for being the final elimination. So basically In this rumble Superman would’ve added 5 points to his teams total when he eliminated Batman rather than 6. This was an absolute blast to watch though, I loved it and a tournament based on this concept would be amazing. Thanks for continuing this epic series!!
I think it would be kind of cool to once the actual season and tournament starts since you’re changing the whole vibe and design of the rumble you should change the champions rumble too or if you want to keep champions rumble the same at least maybe have a champions rumble and then another rumble where the top 30 people with the most eliminations over the course of the season get into it and compete to see who the fiercest competitor was. Cause as we know the champions sometimes could have way less eliminations then someone who has never won and since this is team based it would be cool to see the guys doing the heavy lifting getting some love.

A neat idea I had for this new rumble format would be to have a team leader for each team. The team leader will give their team double points for each elimination they get, but the other team would get 4 points for eliminating them, which would probably lead to exciting and fun rumbles.
like the idea but I think u should tweak the point system as maybe shawn butler suggested. 2 points for eliminating someone on the other team, 1 point for eliminating your own team
Here's an idea. If DC eliminates a DC teammate they lose a point where they gain a point for a Marvel elimination.
Whoever is designing these wrestlers is doing a damn good job. I don’t have to worry or ask myself who that is you know immediately excellent job Ricky J, and whoever else is designing these characters. Keep it going brother.
A real cool idea, I liked it! Some comments are saying: 2p for eliminating opposing team, 1p for your own teammate. I agree with that, some fine-tuning for Season 5.

1. Get 2pts for eliminating an opposing team member
2. Get 1 pt for eliminating a teammate.
3. Get a bonus point for each multiple eliminations on top of the point structure for the initial elimination (ie: If Superman man had 4 eliminations, he would have earned a 3 extra point for eliminations #2, #3 & #4) ...1pt for each.
4. 10 points for the last man standing

Awesome idea Ricky! Only problem could be if it’s lopsided you would know the teams winner at midpoint. Maybe do something where the last man standing gets 5 pts for his team. Could change the outcome and make winning more beneficial.
So For instance DC was up by 2 with 3 people left. So we already knew DC won. But if Black Panther had pulled it off he would’ve given Marvel the stunning upset.

Same concept 1 point for an Elimination with the winning elimination being worth 5 points etc.

DC getting several points by eliminating other DC players. Lol. I’m only 8:17 in, so curious to see how it turns out. Love this idea, Ricky. Puts a spin on it. Interesting idea for this Rumble. I like the new rules and I would like to see this format for Season 5 Rumbles. Also I think you numbered this one wrong. I think it should be episode 14 not episode 15 unless I missed one.
not bad for a new format. I'd stick with the random entries to help randomize the point spread. also doing a round robin tournament to see who goes to the finals for season 5 would be awesome. Especially if you do it by top 30 number of eliminations and also top two teams overall.

The problem with doing random entries is if one team has a disproportionate number of people coming in late. Because you get six points for winning, a team who gets a lucky draw of having a lot of late entries is much more likely to win. Actually his name is officially Shazam now. Marvel trademarked the name causing DC to publish books under the title Shazam and they made it his office name in 2012. I was thinking the same thing when the movie came out and that's what I found out.
They should have the villains from Spider-Man cartoons like Rhino and Shocker and Scorpin and Hobgolbin and Green Golbin and Electro and the Lizard vs the Batman Villains like Clayface and Mr.Frezze and the Penguin and Riddler and Bane and Clockface and Two face and the Joker and other Villains .
Maybe minus points if someone eliminates themselves. Like someone jumping over the ropes when someone ducks out of the way

I really enjoyed this format. Well done. I hope that the makers of WWE 2K23 make the change you're suggesting...it would make the game a lot more fun to watch as you wouldn't have team eliminating team. It does make for lopsided scoring. I think with the format as it is, you're always going to come down to the last two guys in the ring...just my opinion.

What would you do in the event of a tie? Like if one team is up by 6 points, then someone from the other team wins, getting one point for the final elimination and 5 for being the winner. Actually, I guess the winner wouldn’t get a point for the final elimination, just the 5 points for winning. So, if one team was up by 5, and someone from the team that’s behind wins it, that would make it a tie. Odds of that happening aren’t real high, but I’m just curious. Sorry if you already mentioned something about that and I missed it. Didn’t get to listen as closely as usual. Watching the kids and they’re running around making a lot of noise.

you should do 1 points if one guy eliminated the other team guy, 0 points for eliminated your own teammate, 2 points if two guys help each other to eliminate one guy from other team, if two guys from each team eliminated one guy together and one of them get a point for helping the other guy eliminate his own teammate
