As Argentinian I only feel respect towards the British people, they are proud of their heritage and as I have said, they share all the features of the nordic race. So please, it's high time the world knew that many many argentinians are not against the Falkland Islands claim of sovereingty or Gibraltar's. In fact, when believe that we were better off when Argentina and Britain were close partners back in the 19th century.

A few years back I used to drive a truck from UK to Gib an delivered to the Safeway's supermarket then it changed to Morrison's an had many a weekend in Gib absolutely loved it 👍

Nell ams - “Gibraltar was captured by the British Fleet in 1704 during the war of the Spanish Succession.” (From historic-uk.com.) The Spanish Crown formally ceded the territory in perpetuity to the British Crown in 1713, under Article X of the Treaty of Utrecht.
Nell ams it won’t be apart of the U.K. but will remain a British overseas territory, just like the British Virgin Islands, the caymans and the Falklands to name a few, there’s 14 in total

The UN/Spain/ EU can say what they want about Gibraltar, the simple fact is Britain is not holding the people of Gibraltar captive on the rock - they have voted overwhelmingly to remain as they are and unless they change their mind nothing is going to change.

The Spanish or Kingdom of Castille never had this place until 1462 which was conquered by them, then eventually to the British in 1704 (1714) as per the treaty of Utrecht.
Now I am not going to be biased to any sides but the colonial wars ended hundreds of years ago and I can see a lot of cancerous, far-right small minds in this video's comment section. This is all in the past and the people living in Gibraltar who want to be British let them stay that way.
You or anybody outside have no say on who should it belong to. This place is so diverse, America (And the fascist franco side of Spain) could learn from it.
Many people of different nationalities in Gibraltar are happy with the way it is, they are people like you and me, trying to make a living especially in such a small land but an economy booming with its Gaming and Tourism.
All I can say is, if you want to make a decision based on a specific country and its own land, decide that in the place that you live or want to live in because that will be the place your place for the rest of your life.
Example:
If Spain doesnt like their government, then the people of Spain have a right to change their government.
If Gibraltar doesnt like their government, then the people of Gibraltar have a right to change their government.
If you dont like your own government, then you and your fellow countrymen have a right to change that government.
Other people's lives and land have nothing to do with yours and vice versa.
Im saying this out of respect because that is freedom and liberty for the people of such a place to decide this.
Oh and just to let you know, I really dont care about Brexit.
Spain, Britain and the rest of the EU have their own problems to deal with.

I was stationed there in 1948 in Casemates and Moorish Castle then kept my boat in the Marina 30 years ago then visited 2 weeks ago the changes are enormous over the years.
Remember that Gibraltar was an important Allied base during WW II. Spain was neutral.

Spain knows it will never take Gibraltar. The real reason is a little Spanish territory call Ceuta and another called Melilla, both on Moroccan land. They can hardly demand one back without giving away what they have "taken".
