I gotta ask you because I know what you mean cause see it I get chills and tear up. It is personal to me and I want to avoid politics but. My family has members that have served back in the day and my grandma told me horrors of real war she knew a person close to her heart who back in Vietnam would have to hide from the Vietnamese soldiers. And I can say beyond a shadow of a doubt this song just has a heavy vibe to it.
@@finewine256xx Well, I survived NATO bombing of Serbia. And the thing is, this video was actually recorded in ruins of Radio Television of Serbia (RTS) and the guy who directed the video was some Serbian guy who came up with the idea for the location. Regarding the acoustic part with nuclear bombs, well acoustic guitar brings so much emotion that is exactly the opposite of the sheer power of nukes. It's like a sad part at the end of the video that suggests that the world is going toward destruction.
Reminds me of the “To Live Is To Die” song in Metallica’s And Justice for all album and “One” from the same Album in 1988, sounds metallica inspired. Dope asf

It's so rare in any genre of music to have a album released so late into a iconics band career that could arguably be there best. Soulfly had some amazing albums but from beginning to end dark ages is amazing as anything sepultura or soulfly did in my opinion

This is such a great track. Dark Ages overall is really solid. It's the first Soulfly record I heard. Well, actually one of the first thrash/death albums I heard back in 2006, lol.

I still listen to all of the old stuff I have from 14-17 yrs ago, so I found out about the "new" sepultura and soufly only this year and now I finally listen to soulfly. really great, feels like sepultura's old stuff.

So i go over to my buddy's house to party and he tells me a friend is coming over...So like half an hour later theres a knock at the back door and it Joe Nunez (SoulFly drummer) i was like "no way!" Long story short we chilled and talked and he told stories what not.Joe is an awesome guy and a real down to earth person.We Use to party like every other weekend and then they went on tour last time i saw him was like two months ago But yeah SoulFly rocks!
