Barry would eventually have to ask Michael to leave because Barry was a Dad who had to take his kids to school every morning, and could not keep staying up all night. MJ was Michael Gibb's God father, and he was named after Michael. I would say they were pretty close. Love their collaboration song All in Your Name.
MJ overstayed his welcome, & Barry was forced to ask him to leave. Same with the rich guy in the middle-east....where that guy had to ask MJ to go too. Very uncomfortable situation he put them in.

What's so sad is that he didn't see himself as handsome. Yes, he looks pretty good here because he hadn't gone totally out of control with plastic surgery and because of his soul shining through, but he was also beautiful with the face he was born with. Shame on those who made him feel ugly or "too black" or...I don't even know what his motivation was for altering his appearance. It couldn't have been race, but if it was that's all the more tragic. R.I.P. Michael-so talented, so tormented, so misunderstood.
@@annika_panicka I don’t know if they said he was too black but his skin changed due to vitiligo so he used skin treatment and makeup to match with the skin he was changing to. He wanted to appear more normal and that’s why he did that. He actually loves being black and wish he could be darker again. Just for info :)

Michael and Andy were friends and around the same age, so I think Michael being one of the little brothers in his family just naturally fit in with Andy's older brothers, especially Barry. After all, being famous musical siblings, the Jacksons and the Gibbs had a lot in common.

Micheal met Gordy when he was a child and grew up around Gordy. U can see the love and admiration he has for Gordy unlike Micheal father who he has strong hate for how he treated him and his siblings. Gordy showed love and Joe showed coldness and contempt toward his children.

MJ also noted that if any of his siblings had an interest in something (other than music) Joe would support his children & even purchase supplies/equipment. He was definitely abusive but he did have his moments of caring, too. The caring side was not shown often & Joe was brutal about getting his kids out of Gary, IN. He wanted them to have a better life than he did. He had good foresight but he still had abusive tendencies.
That's a bunch of BS Joseph wanted his children to succeed. Hell yes he was strict. But look at the results. He wanted the best! And that's what he got.
Even though it was a misunderstanding we got to experience a wonderful moment between these two which will always be remembered❤
