    Sorry.. one more question. Do you know if you need a certain amount of pressure to use a uni valve?? I’m will only be using my pole from a hoselock garden tap. The pole has worked fine without the uni lock.. would just be great to be able to stop the flow from the pole. I know you are dealing mainly with proper window cleaner normally so might not know! Pete

    • @squeakycleandave1
      @squeakycleandave1  Před 3 lety

      Hi Peter
      To be honest I really wouldn’t like to say. The difference between a tap and the pumps we use for window cleaning is when you stop the flow with a window cleaning pump it turns the pump off so there isn’t a constant pressure on the univalve. With a tap that pressure would still be on when you turn the univalve off.
      It might be worth giving the lads at Exceed a ring and asking them

    • @squeakycleandave1

      It works like a tap. You pull the hose and it opens the valve and lets the water flow. When you want to stop the flow you pull the hose again and it closes the valve stopping the water
