If they really were THAT upset about Israel's presence they should have withdrawn before even going to Sweeden, instead of throwing tantrums about a situation they help creating themselves. But nope, they were all anxious to show off their "brave activism" through writings on their face, scarves around their wrists and painted nails that they KNEW they couldn't do because logically that would ignite even more negative feelings towards the israeli participant whose well-being was already at risk. And they even had the audacity to say they werent feeling safe in there. Guess who wasn't really safe? Apparently for all these "inspiring participants" every life matters... yeah, except Eden's apparently.

Here where I live (not in Sweden), it's quite common that a police investigation means getting fired from a TV production. I don't really understand the whole fuss; in my opinion, it's just a normal practice.

If a save working environment is the goal. The EBU has created the opposite for participating artists.
I feel some sorry for the Israeli artist. As the EBU was so slow with statement here was a lot of room for speculation. The video shared from the Israeli delegation where they focused on Joost in the background mocking his wish for some Privacy, was not smart.

Hi, thank you very much for the dedicated and professional work you do and together with sensitivity and compassion. I really wanted to ask you, because you have courage and integrity, to make a video in which you talk about the silence of your colleagues here on CZcams, those who are more famous - I won't mention names, but all the well-known commenters ignored Israel this year, and the word ignored is too mild. In my opinion, they boycotted Israel this year and did not make a single critical video about it. They thought that this was how they influenced public opinion. This is how they will 'punish' Aden Golan from Israel because 'they have the power to shape public opinion'. But the reality on the ground showed otherwise. All world public opinion was in favor of the Israeli song and contrary to all their boycotts, contrary to them and contrary to the judges, the world saw everything and was not affected at all. In my eyes it is the sin of arrogance. To think you can dictate moves by boycotting a Eurovision contestant. Instead of going against the boycotts, and the booing and abusive behavior of many participants against the Israeli delegation, instead of going against it, they supported it. In my eyes, you were one of the only ones who kept a backbone and wealth. I would love it if you take this challenge and make a video about it. Thank you

Speaking about those who boycotted Israel? I will think about it..

They did it because it's hard not to criticise Israel in this situation or be objective, especially when the song was ;political in lyrical nature.

I have a fundamental question that I have not yet seen placed and definitely not answered. Why did Israel participated? Being allowed or having the right to do something, does not mean you have to do it. You are allowed have the right to drink 3 bottles of wine, but it’s probably not a good idea… what was the objective of Israel? Was it to get support? Than it failed as more people are against Israel than before Eurovision. They damaged Israel’s image in the contest, and shadowing even the past. Only to impose their presence… is it to express supremacy? Domination? Every answer I come to is the wrong principle. If they would have withdrawn, which everyone would understand, they would come out better off. But of course, in that case they could not continue feeding the narrative that is Israel against the world…
