I wouldn't believe a word them parents say,
So when their son said Gabby is gone they did not see the need to let her parents know. Instead they ignored the family. They had a lovely little holiday while Gabby was dead. As a mother I can say no one as blind as the person who does not want to see and as deaf as the person that does not want to hear.
And he returns home in HER van WITHOUT her. Say she's not dead and that he didn't have something to do with it. They know their son. Don't buy anything the Laundries say.

What i find sad is that we are still talking about this case when there are still girls who are alive and missing but werent good looking like gabby and nobody is talking about those girls
It's almost as if this same ridiculous argument was brought up while they were looking for her... Same thing as the 4 college kids that were tragically murdered in Idaho... Looks have nothing to do with it, mainstream media is to blame. They're the ones out there cherry picking these stories. I wish people would get better and original material for their crusades.

And did Brian say I'm coming by Car, than the Parents KNEW that Gabby was dead.. because why would Gabby take off without her Car...

I remember the phone call from my mom when my Grandmother died. She’s was very upset and said, Mar’s gone. My response was where did she go? Again, she said, she’s gone. I didn’t understand. Again I asked, where. She then replied, she died. So I do understand this part of the conversation. I would have asked, why do you need a lawyer? Just so my tragedy in all of this.
Amazing he said she's gone and come home with her Van..... what did they think she walked back home, went with someone else or vanished....
I would have gone to court if I were the Petito parents.
I feel like The Laundrie's are coming out the winners in this which is sad. I wouldn't settle for money.

What brian did isn't their fault, but it is their fault that her parents knew nothing. His parents could have told her parents what they knew, but they were covering it up because deep down they knew what he meant by Gabby's gone.

@@rebeccam1392 Gabby's parents were frantic all the while the Laundries knew she was "gone". Yes, they are to blame for the suffering they caused her parents and family and so is Bertolino, hence he was named as well.
I disagree regarding the Laundrie's knowledge or lack of thereof. After speaking with Brian on the phone, they contacted their family attorney (Bertolino) but then went on to hire a criminal attorney in Wyoming. If Brian and Gabby had merely broken up or if she had simply run away somewhere by herself or with another person, there would have been no reason to hire a Wyoming criminal attorney. IMO, Brian was frantic, his dad weasled the truth out of him and then took pains to protect his son even after his return to Florida. They had a family bbq on the beach and likely agreed to move on.
The Laundries ARE the most hated parents in the United States.

My heart really goes out to Gabby's family. But they were forced to settle because they have no proof there is no case brian's parents were not under the assumption that brian killed her , they thought that there was a fight , maybe hit her or that she ran off. If you were apparent you would not automatically assume that your child killed somebody. They did not speak to anyone because they were under the legal advice of their lawyer stephen bertolino

Gabby’s mother and father are trying to blame others for their own failures as parents.
The sister knew and the parents knew.
After all the Search and Rescue money spent weeks. And parents show up to help look for Brian and they went right to the location Sickening. So sorry for both families everybody lost

Why are we still on this? So many other missing people, killed people who cases are still unsolved? Crazy to me how much energy is put into this case when they were both clearly toxic to one another and yet stayed together and look what happened. Case closed move on.
