Whats most shoking is the windsocks going different directions
Yeah man, I could not figure that one out!
There’s a central overhead door latch that must be released for the doors to open.
THANKS!!!
@@IslandSimPilotYou’re welcome-I enjoyed your flight in the Tomahawk!
Primer is left of fuel gauges. That silver round thing.
Just like in my Cherokee.
Nice briefing!
High praise from you, sir!!
great video love the culebra landing
Thanks brother! It was a great place to test this plane.
The windsocks at 0:20! 😂
Great walk around
I do not agree with y’ou regarding you are not checking to mage sure the fuel tanks BOTH work on the groung 😸
Yeah, that's a fair argument. The thing is you'd really have to switch them and then wait at least 5 minutes to make sure the other one is working. Which you could argue is a good use of time.
So I was happy to hear you say the nose slams down when deploying flaps. I have never flown in the Tomahawk, but pipers and Cessnas usually ballon up on flap deployment so the nose drop and heavy trimming is a little off putting to me. It may be perfect for the real life experience but not typical to other GA aircraft for sure.
Yeah, that’s because of the T-tail. I’ve never flown a Tomahawk either, I tend to think that is probably a bit exaggerated. Because it snaps down hard!
The nose of the Zenith Zodiac CH 601 snaps down _hard_ upon deployment of full flaps. Don't ask me how I discovered that...! ;-)
Great video. I also had the same problem as you in this aircraft. Recently, I was enjoying a flight along the North Wale coast in the UK, flying straight and level. When I opened the storm window, well below 100 KAIS, I got a thump and the "black screen of death". I had critically damaged the aircraft! Must be a bug somewhere!
That’s interesting! I really can’t figure it out, I’m guessing you’re probably right. That must have been a pretty flight by the way!
I don’t have an hour right now to watch the video but no one has been talking about the audible stall warning not going off until 40kts.
There is a latch to lock up where the 2 doors meet
Appreciate that!
23:40 - you left your window open
BTW, are you in beta 15? Half the planes are bugged down with it! F28, also by JustFlight couldnt move the throttle, flaps nor speedbrake. (No animation, but could be avtivated with keyboard)... Once I left the beta, everything went back to normal.
Did you exceeded the maximum crosswind component? also, did you turn the yoke into the wind to compensate for the crosswind? it seems the aircraft was wheelbarrowing (look at the turn and slip coordinator) and that may cause the stress on the landing gear...
I don't think so, they said the wind there was like 5 knots, which clearly it was more. But I have to say, your theory is quite plausible.
Yah baught it of course and see ya later today. I flew one once and no spins lol .
It's a great little airplane.
I have a problem with my left rudder pedal. It kept pushing on the left brake by itself. Can someone help me find the conflict? I have no problem like that with other planes. Also plane dove when I put the flaps down for landing. A bug?
Go to just flight and go to thier help
top latch on roof of plane
Yeah finally figured that one out 😁
So i guess the head tracker cannot show what is above you?
It could, I just didn't look up.
