Best Halloween home tour ever! I love primitives and handmade items.I don't go all out for Halloween anymore so it was a real treat seeing all your things.I totally go all out with my primitive Christmas, I've already started decorating for Christmas, I just keep my curtains closed so my neighbors don't think I'm crazy, lol, Thank you for sharing, loved it all!!
Haha thanks Jodi!! I may or may not have bought a brand new Christmas tree yesterday and set it up last night just to see what it looked like 😂 now I don’t want to take it down, but it looks pretty crazy mixed in with all the Halloween decor. I’ll have to just not let any of the trick or treaters in my house hahaha

Oh my goodness April I love all of the primitive decorations. I love your little arched black cats on the mantle along with the pumpkin and ghost garland hanging on the mantle. I love it all. Halloween is my favorite holiday for sure. Your new addition is a little creepy.😱The faces really do look like photographed faces. Everything looks Halloween perfect. Love your little furbabies.🐕🐕🐕 I fell in love with that candy corn pillow on your bench. Couldn't find it so I made my own pillows minus the legs, a girl one with a hair bow, and a boy with a matching bow tie. Thanks Renee! I’ve slowly starting getting into the Primitives over the years! I still love my white and grays in my home that lean a little more farmhouse but the more old and rustic the decor the better ❤️ I’ve been picking up some great primitive Santa’s and snowmen already!

I was patiently waiting to see your Halloween home tour and it certainly paid off..it is so much fun to see how you display all your spooky treasures together. Thanks April! Love the name by the way haha. The awning was a little more challenging and I needed some help from my uncle but the ladder you could definitely do, just need 2 shelf brackets and a power drill 🙂
Would love to see a tutorial on making the needle felting crafts, like the candy corn. I’ve always loved them but never learned.
I’m kind of new to the whole thing myself and just getting better with practice. I think I’m gonna try making a snowman for Christmas so I’ll try to film it 🙂

This is my favourite Halloween home tour so far. I love the mix of primitives and "normal" decorations. My favourites are the primitive ghosts and bats. Your dogs are lovely too.

Oh nice!!! I would definitely love too! I have like 4 storage bins of them! I stopped collecting mostly because i had no room. When I do decorate with them I usually rotate and put them inside my hutch. I hope some day to have a bigger home, if not I may have to eventually downsize my collection

Wow wow WOW! I love it all so much. From the rustic folk handmade items to the home decor store/dollar items, everything just flows together perfectly. I love shopping my local craft fairs for those original pieces too. Those creepy witches on the board - too cool to pass up! Do any of those vendors have Etsy shops? Great tour, I live your style. I really like the Frankenstein on your front door. Could I ask what craft show that lady is at if i remember right you are in Pennsylvania and I believe you directed me to a store on Rt 30 a while back. If I'm mistaken sorry
Thank you!!! Yes i am from PA, that was me! There are two ladies I buy stuff from. One is the one that I got the cat with the long neck and skeleton on the barn door (I can get her info for you guys the weekend of thanksgiving when I see her again) and the other who made the Frankenstein comes to a craft fair I go to every year first weekend in October, called the covered bridge festival. They moved locations this year and is now in Bloomsburg PA. Hopefully that helps 🙂

I only made the needle felted items and a stuffed mummy and ghost. I buy a lot of homemade items that other people made and I love to shop in stores
