My favorite hip hop artist, he inspired me to be like him, but with my own wave I'm in the process of making music, I bought a whole studio, working on studio one 6+, PGA 181 side address microphone, cr-x gt studio speakers, Scarlett solo audio interface, audio technica headphones, i know nobody asked but this guy, larry June, Dr Dre, biggie smalls, wutang clan, and much more made me want to make some dope ass music. @@acebutter9241 you don’t even know what your talking about there are plenty of people who make their own loops and make them sound like samples. Everybody don’t sample the same way. And for your information hip hop started with old drum machines and basic riffs, chords, and melodies. If you play a synthesizer or some type of keyboard that’s a preprogrammed instrument based off someone else’s algorithms if its analog but if its not it someone else’s samples especially if its a work station. Unless you make your own instruments and it’s still predetermined and based off someone else’s idea. So yea I just do know….. so don’t judge just based off your limited brain 🧠 activity.

@@ameeqalli8115 did I say everybody samples only records? did I say everybody samples the same way? did I say people don't sample? I'm saying the foundation of where it started is sampling and or mixing other peoples music. And for your information hiphop started with Dj's spinning records and doing tricks with them like "the merry go round" where they (Dj Kool herc)repeated the same breakbeat over and over. And yes most of the classics from the golden age were beats/ tracks based off samples. But by your first comment you make it seem like it's a new thing to sample or "steal" as you call it and put it in a negative light which is ridiculous.
