in my experience, I've only bought 1 grab-bag type of sale and all of it were garbage. it's like playing the lottery where 9 times out of 10 you end up with paper trash.

yeah, I agree, you got a bit hosed on the value. Of course, that's just my opinion, the ASM #57 is OK, however at best in that condition it's a $25-30 book , the rest are pretty much $1 to $3 a piece

Amazing Spider-Man 277 is not a Venom cover. Spider-Man is not wearing his alien suit. He got rid of it in ASM 258. What he is wearing is a regular black costume he made.

Found a 100 marvel comics grab bag for 40 pound (I'm guessing that's somewhere around 50 dollars) for 100 comics, do I go for it?
Depends. If you are just trying to build up your collection I would say go for it. There is little chance you are going to get anything more than dollar comics, but even still that's $100 worth of comics for half the price.
When will ppl learn. Comic mystery boxes are simply to unload trash comics.
