Love your dress. I remember my Mum having a skirt years ago with those little panels in it and it always moved beautifully on her and every time she wore it she would get compliments from other women. I enjoy watching how you use this system. Well done.❤

You look lovely in that dress, the colors are so complimentary and look like summer. If the lining won't behave; you might try top stitching around the neck and armholes. Good job, fits perfectly and Carole's top turned out beautifully too.

Love it! I use the lutterloh system most of the time and I love it. I think this would be gorgeous in black with white inserts in the skirt or white piping in the neckline.
Yes!! Definitely! Actually for this one....I was considering putting in red inserts...but I didn't have enough red from my scrap pile! I definitely can see your vision and the piping detail would be so lovely!! Thanks for the ideas and thank you so much for watching!!! Now I want to go find some piping!!!

It's funny - it's not the sewing that scares me, it's the pattern drafting! I have the system, got it from eBay when I saw that Carole had it. And I was familiar with it from watching you. I'll have to give it a try. You are inspiring!

Thanks so much Rikki!! The little partial poking out doesn't bug me as much, but someone suggested for my next one to do a piping detail at the neck line...how gorgeous would that be!!!
The dress is gorgeous. I have that pattern and was not keen, too short. But, I could just lengthen it at the hips. Btw, When I find areas which can’t be understitched but SHOULD be understitched, I do it by hand. I feel so ‘couture’, lol

The neckline is not exactly as the drawing, though.
Yes, correct. I think I'm loosing some of the shape due to my lining! I clipped around the curve in the seam allowance. Not too sure what's happening, maybe the fabric too thick, or I could have drafted it a bit wonky as the dots were really close together.
