@@deletdis6173 It was a father's day brunch at a massive house in Newport beach that only had an old couple living in it and their son was coming over with his family to eat. Usually I would show up early in the morning and check the place out for staples like oil, salt, etc before I hit the farmer's market and grocery store. The menu was planned ahead of time with the old lady, and unbeknownst to me, she basically quadrupled the number menu items and sent the house keeper to go shopping the day before. When I arrived, she had every possible variety of pre-made muffin, cupcake, pancake & waffle mixes, hot dogs, pre-formed burger patties, pre-cut fruit and just an insane amount of packaged "Just add xxx" and frozen foods. We're talking, like 15-25 different items. The old lady then walked me through the cooking instructions on every single item... Like, pointing to the directions on the packaged food and constantly asking her assistant, who always followed behind her with one cup of coffee and one of tea that she handed to the lady on command, to read the small print because she couldn't see it well enough. Once she finally left me alone, I just kinda started making a dozen different things that made no sense to be serving together - all from packages. The lady would check in from time to time and keep pushing service back. the family just kept pushing their arrival back to a new time, then pushing it back again. I don't remember the exact times, but it was something like 11am, 12pm, 12:30pm, 1:30om. 2pm and then finally somewhere between 3:30 and 4:30, after I have an insane person's spread of bizarre foods that have been heated and reheated a thousand times, I decide I have to leave. I just cleaned up, packed up the food into the fridge and went to find someone to tell I was leaving. I walked around the massive house and backyard for a good 10 minutes looking for someone but only manage to find a gardner. At this point, its a good 45 minutes passed the most recent meal service time i'd been given... I literally just left a note in the kitchen that said I had to go... and I left. That was 11 years ago and I still think about it regularly as the most surreal experience of my life.

THIS is just quality content, you are a someone who can proudly call yourself a content creator. There are so many youtubers calling them selfs content creators, that just do fake pranks or just some pranks everyone else already did like a 1000 times, but you are just awesome man!
Next time bring the Hungry Man dinners to a very fancy restaurant and see if they'll microwave them for you. Of course you'll compliment the meal with an expensive bottle of wine.
I think a good video idea would be to go into a restaurant, and when they ask what you would like to eat say ‘can we have a few more minutes’ and keep saying it until the restaurant closes

As someone who did serving this is funny but unless they tipped the server(s) very well, it's not cool. They rely on turnaround more tables equals more tips. Quite often a bunch of small tips can add up more than a couple larger tips.

As someone who once spent a year dumpster diving behind a mcdonalds just to stay alive, that made me cry inside a lot when you refused the food they brought with them, because you know they're required to throw it away.

Being a personal chef must take some guts, I work in a kitchen, and it is stressful enough to have all the food that goes out be satisfactory to the customer, I can't imagine the added pressure of being in their HOME cooking for them.
