The Income Tax Department has come up with a new e-filing portal at www.incometax.gov.in. The portal promises a better and smoother user experience.
It is mandatory for every taxpayer of the country to be registered with the IT department website.
By registering on the website you can avail a lot of services. For example, you can access last year’s tax returns, check your refund status, prevalidate your bank account, download Form 26AS, and so on.
