- I think everybody should try camping at least once in their life. You get so much from it - at least I do. It's very different to staying in a luxury hotel, yet you can still be comfortable and have this amazing camping experience.
Today I find myself once again back on the beautiful east coast of Tasmania, and I am checking out a eco-glamping retreat, which is a first for me and a first for this channel. The property is called new in Numie, which is about a ten minute drive from the Freycinet National Park. Numie is set on 91 acres of pristine reserve on the shore of Pelican Bay, and has loads of wildlife and natural beauty.
If you're an existing camper that goes camping lots, this is going to be a fantastic step up and upgrade from the usual camping
that you are used to, and if you're new to camping
and you don't have camping gear or it's not something that you've really tried before, then this is a fantastic opportunity for you to come and do some camping and have that experience without having to have all of the gear. You've got running hot water, you've got a shower, you've got a composting toilet, luxury queen size bed with linen, multiple fireplaces/pits - you've really got everything here!

Ben & Brett, just home from a tough day at work. This is exactly what i need! What an incredible, natural location. Those views! The 'gums' and the 'at one with nature'. Literally. And the 'luxx' camping. The finishing touches and quirky elements just make this so special. The seat and the shower! Funky too. Fun. Yet totally relaxing.
