Well done. I would add a comment about properly conditioning the new battery after adding the electrolyte. Immediately installing the battery would probably work, but the battery will last longer if you let the electrolyte soak into the plates for a few hours and then externally charge it to 100% before installing it in the bike.
Thank you! This is awesome! I appreciate you keeping it quick and to the point, rather than the traditional 43 min video to change a windshield wiper blade etc. Keep it up!
Is it just a Phillips screw head to remove the cover too, or is it some kind of hex bolt? (My bike is in storage, and I'm about to get it back on the road, for sale. It has been stored properly - but the battery will definitely need to be replaced).
Question - I just replaced the battery on my k1200r (2006) after not running it for 3 or so months. It ran perfect before this, but now will not turn over. It cranks but never turns over. Any idea what this may be? Help would be GREATLY appreciated.
So glad I found this before I started looking under the seat !
haha glad i could help

Thank you so much for your excellent and short instructional video! 😊
Glad it was helpful!
Why did you use a wet cell battery? Why not an AGM ? Should use a sealed battery.
You should remove negative before positive for the same reason you reconnect positive before negative
Very helpful.. Tqvm brother
Do you have an oil change video for a K1200 GT??

My pleasure!
Don’t you need to do a TPS reset after disconnecting the battery?
Great thank you
Thanks a lot
Can you do an R9T battery change vid please?
i will once i get one in
Why reconnect the positive side first..?
because if you short out the tool to ground it wont arc, since the negative isn't connected.
how did you remove all these body panels in 2 min.
it takes me an hour , .... lol !
lol post process editing
