My name is Cindy Whitmire. In 1994, I was in a head-on collision and sustained a traumatic brain injury. I have come a long way since then. No longer am I permanently in a wheelchair. I went from living in a nursing home to an assisted living after having a series of small strokes in 2013. My last stroke was in 2017. I am now a shut-in. Reaching out through CZcams gives me a sense of freedom and fellowship with the dolly community. I want to make my channel playful, and real. Yes, they said for me I have significant loss in both ears. My left ear I lost hearing over 20 years ago when I was hit and he popped my ear drum, and the right ear just recently 2 winters ago from covid. I would never let them shave my hair though LOL Your hair is gorgeous.

Yes I have significant hearing loss in both ears. My left ear was damaged by my ex husband and my right ear got deaf after covid a couple of years back. I would not want surgery. Especially with no guarantees.
Thank you for not blaming me for not wanting surgery. I'm happy with my hearing aids. And if I don't want to hear the world, I can just take them out.🤣🤣🤣
