I’m a diabetic and I carry several tubes of cake icing, they typically have 15 grams of sugar and cost under $2.00

Funny to see this 8 months later and hear someone say "its almost over, just flatten the curve..."
They fooled a lot of people.

I actually carry the Tablets in my range bag. I was diabetic but have since got it well under control and still carry to this day just in case. Tablets work fairly well.

Thanks for all the info, and taking the time to educate. I must be getting older, because I feel like I missed some of the content because of how fast the gentleman is talking. I couldnt talk that fast if i was bleeding to death!😉

Enjoyed the vid very much the info is invaluable. I want to learn more on the subject, my sister is a nurse she also helps me out. I did put together a trauma kit, learning along the way ofcourse, but I'm definitely an amatuer. Hopefully i will never have to use my kit, but I'll have it if i do or aid a professional who doesn't have his/her gear. Thx again! 👍

I was told during a random conversation with someone that claimed to be a licensed EMT that you must be certified to apply a tourniquet. Is that true? I'm unable to find anything that states this is writing. They also stated if I were to apply a tourniquet to someone I can be held liable for complications from the tourniquet, and "good Samaritan law's" do not apply to the use of them.

I've been told that in some cases minute partials can break of and travil through the body causing more probs than it fixes?
You can't find Quick clot in any Chemist readily for sale on shelves, Ambos and first responders that I've talked to haven't even heard of Quickclot, at least in QLD and NSW?

Very interesting! As a civilian I still want to help anyone in need when I see I can help. Also in a different scenario saving my life is more important then eliminating the threat in a combatant situation! Its something to think about in any situation not just combat but everyday life as well...
