Today i made this cake.. though it was soft, spongy and yummy but it was a bit dry. It was not moist. Do you think that instead of 2 tbs the oil should be 1/4 cup?

Followed everything in the instructions and video and mine came out 2 cm high. I did not use food coloring, but don't think that would be a problem with height.
I tried several other fluffy recepies and never managed to get that flufiness. It just doesn’t rise up. I troubleshoot every step and still don’t know what is the reason …

Hahaha…. what do you know? Just as I was about to pour the batter into the cake tin, I realised there was 30 ml of oil left on the baking table. So I played the video a dozen times but nope, no oil was used. Some of these people in the baking channel even left out the tin size like it was some great secret. Makes you wonder whether they are sincere about sharing. Maybe all they care about is the number of people subscribing and the number of views.
😅 30ml of oil was mentioned in the description.
After mixing the flour into the egg, add oil + juice 2:15 . You probably miss that!
