This is why multi-classing doesn't work right now imo. Instead of using a bunch of unique perks, you can just stack resistance perks and it works 10x better.

Unfortunately you're right that many perks that just stack these sort of particular stats makes an otherwise great system very untenable. I hope that the new progression system will feature the same concept of "things that other classes have" while being more balanced.

Tbh perks like Ironwill and Antimagic shouldnt even exist in the game because all other classes are paying an MDR tax for them simply existing. Every other class in the game cannot effectively build past ~20% MDR because Barbarian and Warlock can get to 50%?
Why not remove those perks, reduce the MDR curve and add better MR gear? Why do i have to sacrifice 10-20 worth of stats to build MDR when Barbarian gets it for free?
Multiclassing just proves magic at the higher end is broken because most classes cannot build against it.

@@D3robotics if a zombie kills you or is unaggro next to a body it eats it for awhile
@@D3robotics zombies will eat the corpses of nearby players you dont see it often because the players usually kill the zombies first and not the other way around lol.

Just FYI you can afford to get a fine cuirass (+str+vigor) instead of darkplate since you are over 75% MDR anyways with the warlock perk.
I read somewhere that the 25% is additional irregardless of the cap. As in can go above 75% mdr

The only multiclassing I did was on Wizard with three cleric spells; lesser heal, protection, and resurrection.
It still felt broken, despite only having three cleric utilities, and I think that speaks volumes on how this game really relies upon a sturdy class-based foundation.
ive been doing that tank part of the build with iron will the shout and robust, but i take defense perk that gives you 50 mr and pr while defending and sword mastery then i run longsword. while in def stance with longsword the 50 of both stats apply

What is the best way to build this for under 299 gear score? What is the best way to min-max this build for 299 GS?
I was nearly the same build on 299 lobbys, instead of crossbow perk i took -3perHit cleric perk, man im gonna miss it
Dagger warlock crossed with one wizard and the rest cleric. 50% reduction on debuffs (for savage roars), Antimagic, dagger mastery and shadow touch, Smite and warlock casting. Got ignite and divine strike spells along with the warlock damage buff. Stacked action speed, 5-10% armor penetration and some true damage, it would hit for insane damage on a dagger with lightning fast hits on an average kit. Chose Warlock because they have a bit more hp, can use daggers and have access to 3 of the abilities I wanted. Could use Cleric but they can't use daggers and it works best with a fast weapon, Wizards need more tokens for this build than Warlocks so went with a lock. I just don't know how it would stack up against someone really BIS as I never quite there myself as a casual player.
Sometimes I'd swap the debuff out for Dark reflection but it would depend on my will stat. Also caster locks became very strong, you could easily run around with +15 magic healing thanks to the +5 mag healing from clerics.
Goin to miss all these builds. Cant believe u were actually runin kits without slayer perk. 😊
I'd personally love to see you do a longsword kit on fighter or warlock with dex stacking maybe?
Anti magic isnt affected by cleric offensive spells (judgement, holy strike) and does not affect warlock curses (CoP being the most used offensive spell). Just some food for thought your inherently only getting 25% reduction towards dark reflect, dark bolt, BoC, and wizard spells.
lorr on every kit regardless if your going for high ms you need to have double ms or at least 5 ms on your boots try to get that on every kit, good vid like usual!

try physdamage stacking. Ambush/reckless/hide/robust and what not basically build some pen.. baiscally after you get 100% pen its 100 true. I have a barb with 1 shot anyone build

i got crossbow mastery on my bard and it is so damn good
I fought a guy running this but with survival bow. Cursed him 7 times and he got 3rd partied by a demon. Wasn't even half hp. Didn't even pop second wind.
i was running a bonk bleed build rupture, robust, rage, staff mastery, poisoned weapon on rogue and because of the magic damage on the staff i had 14 max stack poison dmg and an additional 5 from rupture seems like a meme build but i was hitting for around 80 total dmg + 19 bleed
I was running warlock with rupture, BOC, poison weapon, shadow touch, dagger mastery and robust shit was gross since I would run Kris with crystal ball. (The add magic damage on the crystal ball scales with poison weapon).

I wish they got rid of Staff Mastery but made a new Dagorb focused perk for Wizard that gives them 100% scaling on Ignite again. Dagorb was honestly a lot more fun and fair but since the Ignite Nerf Wizard's playstyles got hella limited.
this build only works if they rush you. even with sprint you are slow as fuck
That’s literally the point of a tank build tho. If he sacrifices for MS it won’t be a great deal. You will still be slow with PDR gear. might as well go all in in necessary stats and play like a tank, as he did
@@unckrow219 his PDR isnt even high lol. I main plate fighter 59% pdr 55% mdr 160 hpwithout shield and 97% MS. You just run a chapel with agi rings and decent wolf hunters. Not that hard. Kit costs like 8k

Multiclass was fun and will be missed. There no reason to lvl other classes once its gone, just main 1-2 back to simple, same old, nothing new game lol

It was quite the opposite mostly everyone hated multi class even the devs knew about this so it is what it is it actually made the game worse
What is this “same old meta” I’ve been hearing so much about because I have literally never seen more build and class variety than I did right before multi class was implemented and can’t seem to recall anything that was absolutely towering above every other build
