    Tigers are the world's largest cats, weighing about 450 pounds, on average. What are your thoughts on these powerful felines?

      Beautiful animals. They were the first wild animal that I favored at a very young age and, as I grew to research about them, they were also the most unique in behavior compared to the others, so I can definitely associate with them.
      My respects to the Tiger.

      Great video, except that new research have found that tigers did not come from Africa, if not from China, with their closest relative being the clouded leopards, which they involved from an ancestor into both species....

    Very good video. There are only two things to correct: 1-Tigers and they ancestors do not came from Africa, in fact the oldest Panthera member is Panthera blytheae and it came from Asia. As tigers are the first species to derive from the main Panthera branch, is more than sure that the tiger (and the main Panthera branch) evolved in Asia. 2-The longest tiger reliably recorded measured 322 cm "between pegs"; the biggest head-body recorded for a tiger was of 221 cm "between pegs" and it came from Central India (for comparison, the biggest head-body length for a lions was of 218 cm "between pegs" from South Africa). Mazák (1981) calculated that the biggest Amur tiger measured 330-335 cm "between pegs" in total length (tail length in tigers is about 1/3 of the total length. Greetings.

    why are tigers killed when they attack someone? seems like they are just being tigers

    • @ipad1395
      @ipad1395 Před 5 lety +1

      People are scared of anything that doesn't look like them, and can attack them. That's why people keep other people alive after they commit terrible murders worse than what any animal could do, until around 50 years or more. People are just more familiar with and used to those that they can relate to rather than animals, which many don't feel sympathy for. But others, such as myself, think that its terrible to kill animals when they are just being themselves. They are attacking humans more than normal because we are destroying their habitat. You can easily blame people being killed by animals on people themselves. Humans kill more animals than animals kill, but we get angry when an animal kills a person. People are killing their food, killing their families, destorying their habitats, and making them suffer.
