  • Now that I have had a little time with the body and put some laps in on my RCP Mini-96 track I wanted to do a quick update.
    I tested on my stock mr03ve pro with the wheels that came with the autoscale (1.5F & 1.5R).
    Also tested on my mod car we build on this channel.
    Overall this will likely be another autoscale for my mod car and not the stock car.

    I would just assume you could slap this on any wheelbase it’s made for. Nice detail and insight for your optimal use. Can you do a review on this auto scale vs a two year old ? Jk.

    I just ordered this model and the mini 96 track. I had problems with slicks (hard) on my old rcp track. Couldn't find any grip compared to the treaded tires. Never tried the PN racing tires though.

      MM Solo dont use slick tires. You mean the tyres that come with the body? They are crap so buy radials from kyosho or pn but i like the kysho tyres more. Its just like setup your car. Every driver drives different

    Did you have to shave any of the inside front wheel area to get the +2 to not rub? I haven't been able to get mine out on a track yet, still don't have a track at home anymore :( Maybe Kris can print an adapter for the nose clip so we don't have to wait for PN. The play in the CF nose clip creates rub on my MOD setup, which is very similar to yours.

      I didn’t really get any tire rub on the body with the 2’s up front. But I will probably take the lip off and at least round it off before I shoegoo it. CF body clip was definitely an issue. Hate that it’s not the same to make all the bodies interchangeable quickly.

      Surprisingly, the new version is about 8 grams less weight than the old version, based on my postal scale at home. 38 grams for the chrome R8, 36 grams for the Phoenix R8 and 28 grams for the Audi Sport. I bought an unpainted 2015 body as well that I'll clearance well before painting up as soon as a decide on a livery.

    Do they come already painted ? They are so beautiful !

    • @JB3RC
      @JB3RC  Před 6 lety

      The ones I have come already painted w/decals, but they do also make just the white bodies to give those creative (patient) folks an option. I am not creative or patient, so the autoscales allow me to have a good looking car as well!

      Thanks a lot for your answer! I am exactly like you! I can't stand painting RC bodies. I will go for a painted one.
