- People Trust claims its customers broke their policies by repairing their own homes after Hurricane Ian. But, one homeowner's lawyer believes the State of Florida needs to get involved.
A reasonable person would be able to see that waiting a year for repairs to start is unreasonable. I'd call it bull
Talk about a Monopoly! The Carrier will force you to use their own mitigation company even if they can't come help for 8 months! And if you bring another company in they'll hit them with a $3k EMS cap which covers nothing. It's time the State steps in do their jobs and protect its tax payers!
So, a public adjuster can't be the contractor and the PA on a file, but a carrier can be the insurer and contractor. Our government allows this because the carriers pays for their campaigns.
Theres not an ounce of compassion behind that snake Tom Gallagher's eye
Good.
